Lovely staff

Return visitor, the Highlander hotel ticks all our boxes.

Lovely meal and Staff, location perfect. Although room was beat and tidy and well stocked with tea and coffee my pillow was marked looked like a dried muddy stain and the blanket was stained too. Duvet and sheets were spotless.

For a very last minute, just booked that morning, this was a great deal. Room was very clean and comfortable and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived until we left. So much so, we are considering going back.

Yes the room was clean and all staff were brilliant despite the odd mistake. It is obviously a tourist bus stop and caters to them. Thickness of walls was an issue. Room next to us the people were obviously hard of hearing so they had they tv up full until it timed out. Worst two nights sleep I have ever had. Came home for a rest. Drink prices are unreasonable so brought in our own. If prices were more reasonable you could have made more profit from us. The games in lounge need fixed. Not even enough pieces to play a game of connect 4. Book choice limited. No chess or backgammon. Food in deal was ok but not given choice to go for main menu, for lesser price if we did not need three courses

Fin parkering. Venlig personale ved indtjekning. Varmt vand i bruseren. Rengøring var virkelig ringe med afføring på toiletkanten ved ankomst

Ample parking although coaches can take up quite a lot of room.

I stayed three days and they put me next to the busiest roadway when other quieter options were available. Most guests stayed one night while on a guided tour.

Great hotel in an amazing location. It was a great stop for our roadtrip, down from the Highlands. Really good service, good food, good value for money.

Did not enjoy the breakfast too greasy and soggy.

Stayed many times always clean, comfortable and quiet, 3 coaches there on Saturday night which caused problems with parking being tight and us being blocked in, however resolved quickly with the driver, check in staff lovely as always, haven’t eaten dinner or taken breakfast the last 2 trips as find it not as good as it has been historically so can’t comment on that, but an excellent hotel for a warm cosy convention location

The property is in an interesting locality with good dining options and tourist attractions. Unfortunately no lift available to ùpper floor accommodation. Shower cubicle was very small and unfortunately there was no cold water from the mixer the night I used it and got scalded feet.

No soundproofing in rooms, and had constant noise throughout the night, beds were hard and extremely uncomfortable. Sleep and comfort are key ingredients for an overnight stay, and this hotel FAILED.

Beautiful hotel complex, friendly service. Forest environment for those who like walking or cycling. The food is very good. I regret that I was only one night. Thank you very much and highly recommend.

Found two spiders in the room and night-time somebody was walking upstairs we could not sleep because it was making noise all night
