When we arrived at gone 8pm on a Friday, the music in our room was very loud constant tump from the function room downstairs. Was told it would finish at 11pm, did go quiet from 10pm. Room as not very clean on the floor. Tied room fittings. Window/fire escape would not close properly. Toilet wasn't working, did tell house keeping, but nothing sorted during our 2 night stay. Had to use the toilet downstairs out side the bar, even the light in there didn't work.

I stayed for 4 days in room 101 which was a single room. The room was in a very poor state requiring a lot of updating. However, the bed was comfortable, with clean bedding and towels. The cleaner, Alison, did a great job with what she had. She was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The shower curtain support came away from the ceiling and it was obvious it had done it a few times previously as there was nothing left of the ceiling for it to be fixed to. There were guests in the room next door who were in and out their door a dozen times each time slamming the door so it was most annoying. I can't recommend this place and wouldn't stay here again.

The staff in the bar/restaurant below were so kind and thoughtful. We got great service, conversation, and recommendations. Wonderful place to stay!

Not now owned by the owner who won "Four in a bed" TV series... even if you get an automatic email saying it does. Unfortunately the hotel side of this business is not ready to open up again. Our room ( double executive) looked Ok when we first checked in but we then found out that the only info in room was a number to call if the Fire alarm went off during the night! No staff at all were available to help when our room was very cold and in the

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Alison the housemaid. Lovely lady. Super place to stay at a reasonable price but bathrooms in desperate need a bit of modernisation

Managed to get a good quality evening meal but was unable to get breakfast as I hadn't booked in advance something that I was unaware I had to do, other than that no issues.

Staff friendly but the place is old and tried. The name of the hotel above the door is missing letters.

Not very centrally located but very affordable and nice staff

Booked an overnight for visiting family in Aberdeen. Staff couldn't have been any nicer and food in the restaurant was lovely however our room was terrible. We were in a family room on the second floor. The single bed was covered in dog hair. Why charge an additional £10 per night dog fee if you're not actually going to do a deep clean between guests? The beds creaked every time we moved. Room also had a really funky smell, probably from the dog who had stayed before us. Bathroom suite was extremely dated and the hot tap reminded us of the Peltzer orange machine from Gremlins. Stairs leading up go the rooms needed a good hoover and there were numerous cob webs across the ceilings, some inhabited. We'd originally booked for 2 nights but were relieved that we changed it to just one. Such a shame as it's in a perfect location and has the potential to be fantastic.

The staff we did meet were friendly, room overall was clean and location is quiet. Decour was very dated, the top floor smelled very musty and one of the UHT mils in the room was out of date or off (date was difficult to read) and went lumpy in my tea. When trying to check out on the last morning there was no-one around and no even a check out box, this was at 7:45 and we had to be on the road, the guest information stated someone would be in at 07:30. I tried to call several times but with no luck. I ended up leaving the keys behind the bar and leaving a voicemail as there was no other option.

The Inn at the Park is in a nice location, it's clean and the staff we met were friendly. There is also a dog that is in the bar who is lovely. Unfortunately the décor is dated and not in the best condition. One of the milks in the room was off and turned to lumps when I put it in my tea, the room is a family room but the second single was inflatable which we hadn't realised. It was also impossible to check out, there was no-one around to give the key back, we had to be on the road to drive back and there was no-one to be seen at 7:45am, I even tried calling a few times. In the end we had to leave the key behind the bar.

Good value. Comfortable. Helpful staff made us very welcome. Good food and reasonably priced. 30 mins walk to beach and also an excellent bus service from and to the hotel. Would stay again.

Decor outdated and paint peeling in places, however clean room/bathroom, very nice staff and good price for Saturday night stay

On the whole this hotel was ok, we weren’t impressed upon our arrival, no reception area and had to look in the bar for staff to book us in. Got to the room and no towels and the tray with the tea/coffee had not been cleaned as there was coffee granules on it. Room was ok mattress was too soft and lumpy for my liking the room was needing a refresh of paint. The stairs up to the rooms was poorly lit and looked like some maintenance would have helped. We didn’t have much contact with the staff so can’t comment further. I would say though, Monday is bin empty day was awoken at 6.30 to the sound of the glass bin being emptied and wasn’t impressed when we went to our car at 1030 to find broken glass in the car park and had to try move this to the side of the drive so we could safely drive out, when we got back though this had been cleaned.

The lady at the reception was good, however the property was not in a good state, so Much so, I didn’t even get under the covers in the bed, overall need tender loving care not the property it was 20yrs ago, sad to see, I was revisiting Aberdeen and thought I would rekindle my memory of this hotel.
