Stunning views

My family live in Morar but had a full house so I picked this place. 20 mins walk from their home. It was very very basic. I was gone most of the day so I didn’t get to check if there were other amenities. But no coffee or tea maker. Room was small. Bed not bad, I slept quite well but I was very tired. Twin bed size much too small. Someone had soiled the duvet cover. Management handled that quickly. View from my window spectacular

Tidy room. Small bathroom but perfect to well equipped for my one night stay. Ate in the restaurant- portion sizes huge and well cooked

Enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had one of the best views from my room window.

The hotel was great. Good, clean, comfortable rooms. We arrived 30 minutes early but it was no bother to them. They checked us in with a smile. The view from our room was amazing! Dinner was excellent with a varied menu. Service was excellent and staff very helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

The hotel location, was excellent , lovely dinning area. Views from room 8 were amazing.Room clean, bed a bit soft,but ok..Breakfast was a buffet, beautifully cooked an hot.

We had a pleasant stay overall at the Morar Hotel. Decent value, nice staff, and we got a sea view upgrade! The bathroom was newly renovated but the property is on the older side and the beds could use a serious upgrade.

Beautiful room with a view. Close to the beach, would definitely stay here again if in the area. Room was clean, quiet and a decent size. The staff was extra friendly, the meal in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Nice little gem.

The Staff were excellent, especially Akram who seemed to be everywhere! Rooms spotlessly clean and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Accommodating for Pets, but property is tired. Needs work on updating the facilities

Outstanding view, staff were great. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was nice but was buffet so some items could have been warmer but the quality of the food was fine

Likes Close to Silver Sands Beach. Staff were friendly and professional. Chicken curry and King Prawn curry were both lovely. Lovely view from decking outside the restaurant Dislikes Very overpriced for the room (£246.59 for one night). View of the carpark and not the views. Bedrooms and Bar tired looking and need upgraded. Showerhead unstable. Shower did not get hot until I ran the tap. Very loud noise from next room key when being used (late night and early morning). One of the wall lights continually flickered. I can imagine that the hotel was amazing when it was first built but it is very run down now and in need of an upgrade. The website mentions gardens, but there were no gardens, there is a decking area only. The staff were lovely, attentive and very professional, it's just the hotel and value for money that lets it down.

It was fantastic that you can literally get off the Scot rail train at Morar and walk 50m to the door of the hotel! Which was especially amazing given it was pouring rain when we arrived. It was a lovely little place, friendly helpful staff at reception and in the restaurant. Restaurant food was fabulous, and we saw an amazing sunset through the clouds as our meal ended and the rain stopped. Excellent and memorable stay. Many thanks to the reception desk employee, young lady, who helped us figure out how to get to the ferry by local bus the next morning in time, as the local taxi service was already booked up!
