Yes,we didn't expect anything other than excellent as we have stayed, numerous times over the years,in fact since our wedding in 2012,anniversaries and birthdays included.The standard of everything above is truly first class, a credit to everyone involved.

Room was spotless and decorated to a high standard. Staff were attentive and courteous . Never disappointed with our annual Christmas stay at Piersland House Hotel.

Room was lovely, although the view was onto an area being built on. Would request a room with view of the front of the hotel next time. Hotel was lovely, very clean, bed was extremely comfortable.Room was nice and warm. Food at dinner was outstanding, beautifully cooked and presented well. Staff were lovely at evening service. Breakfast food was excellent also and the lady was very helpful when we arrived. Great experience in a lovely hotel.

Stayed in a Lodge room. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Food was great and a lovely cosy bar with a real fire.

Lovely staff. The hotel was beautiful. We were attending a party which was wonderful. Our mews cottage was good and it worked out well with the mobility scooter. The only complaint was that there was noise from a generator or something that didn't switch off till about 2 in the morning and went on again at half 7 so if we stayed again we wouldn't book cottage 26 or 27. Apart from that excellent

We had a lodge room for an overnight stay, room was spotless and perfect for us. The bed was really comfortable and the room had everything we need. Check in was quick and easy, staff were warm and welcoming.

Room 37, one of the cottages. Very small and the supposedly king bed was two single mattresses joined together leaving a seam down the middle under the mattress covers. Had breakfast one of the three days, not exactly the most hospitable customer service. But then this is Scotland, perhaps I've been too used to North American customer service. On the plus side, the Piersland main hotel is full of history and an interesting place.

Everything was very satisfactory. Good choice for breakfast. Adequate bar area for relaxing with friends.

Our stay was perfect, staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was lovely too and plenty to choose from. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Hotel was spotless,staff & service excellent very save environment

Myself, my husband and my 1 year old stayed in room 23 which is a cottage. Had a living area and a separate bedroom/bathroom. It was a good size except the bathroom was very small & the shower was not great. We had asked for a cot when we booked this hotel and it was not there but once we asked they assured us they’d get us one ASAP. 2 hours had passed and still no cot, we phoned again and they said they had sorted one and someone would be over. We went to their bar area for a meal which was lovely. I had the beef bourgignon which came with mashed potato, but there was not much of it. The staff were very good with our 1 year old. I asked a young boy for the bill and it had been over 10 mins and still no bill or sign of the staff member I had asked. I asked someone else who said ‘oh it only takes 10 seconds I don’t know where he’s gone’ so managed to get it that way. They seemed to be more interactive with other guests who I believe were regulars & also a few golfers. Once we got back to the room we had our cot which was fine. Breakfast was included the next morning and was a great selection as well as a hot breakfast which was cooked to order, which was lovely and hot. Overall I do recommend the hotel, but I would not pay as much for the stay as I did on this occasion. I would only stay again if I could get it a bit cheaper as I don’t think it’s worth what I paid
