Well located for the Kelvingrove Museum, Huntarian museums, botanic gardens and the University of Glasgow. It’s also about a five minute walk to the nearest subway station which will take you into the centre of Glasgow. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were super-helpful and friendly. It was also well sound-proofed which I appreciated as I’m easily disturbed by traffic noise etc! The area is nice with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars, and some interesting shops.

The staff were very obliging and helpful. We even had our washing done.

A very nice hotel with all necessary amenities. Close to bus stops and the botanical garden. Loads of cafés, pub and restaurants in the neighbourhood. 10 mins from the subway. Moreover, the owner is a lovely person. Recommended !

Comfortable beds in a quaint hotel. Surprisingly quiet for a city location. Very friendly staff, great location to explore the West End, Ashton Lane, Univ of Glasgow, Botanical Gardens and they serve a hearty breakfast! Parking is not onsite but plenty of free parking just a 5 min walk away.

Overall this was a good hotel. Staff were lovely and accomodating. Lovely breakfast, best scrambled egg in a hotel i think I've ever had! Clean, only thing is a bit dated, maybe needs upgrading.

lovely easy check in. staff really helpful breakfast was lovely to. Only downside was that the remote did not work the t v. Not a massive problem - I found the buttons at the back of the T V, but it would be nice if it had worked.

When booking we were told there was on street parking which we thought was great. However when we arrived theres very limited spaces available and you have to pay every 2 hours

Great location- near Botanical Gardens and the Westend of Glasgow

Good situation? Small room, breakfast minimal.

Great location, comfy bed and hands off staff made the trip easy and enjoyable for someone extremely busy and familiar with the city.

The room was ok for what we paid but the parking was a nightmare ! We didn’t have coins for meter parking and wouldn’t take USA credit cards and nothing was close at all and we didn’t feel safe two older ladies walking 15minutes from possible free street parking down 5 blocks; it was close to the university , food choices & shopping areas ; the owner was nice to help us next day ; the rooms were just room with lumpy beds but clean .

It’s a good value for a nice lodging if you are planning to spend most of your time out and about. The interior is a bit dated and worn, but clean and tidy.

Amazing little hotel in great location

Wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and yummy breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Very good option, nearby everythings

The front of the hotel is appealing and safely hidden from the main street. The complimentary traditional Scottish breakfast was good. The only real problem was the bed- which was basically a long high mound in the middle, slipping down to shallow valleys on either side, like a topographical map. Shops and food are a short walk away. The nearest subway stations are about a 5-8 minute walk.

This property is within walking distance to all of the major sites. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. Their is no AC, so summer will be warm. But otherwise, excellent single bed, suite and location.

Last minute booking for a spontaneous stay in Glasgow, this hotel provided the convenient location and 24 hour access I needed. Room was quirky. One of the downstairs rooms. Bed was very comfortable. The shower room was small and not easy to move around in and close the door to the shower but for the price and last minute I really can’t complain. My room was directly under reception and I found it noisy with early risers coming and going. I would use this hotel again but maybe book further in advance and get one of the upstairs rooms which look lovely and comfortable on their website
