Loved the room for a family of 4. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the updated bathroom with a tub was a huge plus. The surrounding hiking areas were amazing and easily navigated. Did not care for the breakfast/restaurant but that’s easily overlooked.

Amazing hotel and stunning views

Property is under repair work which I would expect due to its age , but they didn’t start until about 10 am and finished around 6. Breakfast was hot and had a wide variety

Hotel com estrutura em reforma com áreas comuns antigas, mas quarto reformado e elegante. Fica distante da cidade, mas tem um pub/restaurante ao lado com ótimo atendimento e boa comida ( a melhor que comi até agora na Escócia). Café da manhã bom!

The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were efficient. Breakfast was reasonable, but the dining bar next door was not particularly good food.

Photos online are deceiving and show this property to be seaside which it is not. Not to be seaside, save your $$$ and stay in Portree which has better options for your $.

Excellent location and super friendly staff. The hot breakfast was delicious and the bar was cozy. All and all a great trip.

Delicious breakfast and clean, well appointed rooms

Perfect location for our visit to Isle of Skye. The room was lovely. Nice selection of complimentary drinks and snacks. Amazing Scottish breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Check in - smooth & easy - however I was asked for my CC details including the CVV. Personally not come across this before & unsure why CVV was required, potential issue there for data breaches especially as the CVV was stored under 'guest name'. I have since cancelled thay card just to be safe. I handed over the details as i was knackered and asked them to delete later, which they said they did but cant verify. Room condition - really nice, clean and comfy bed, nice bathroom. Simple things could improve the raring, like... loose floor tiles in the bathroom could be fixed easily with re grouting (not a big job). Breakfast - Excellent. Really really good. Lots of choice and cooked really well. Location - perfect. If you come to skye you will pass here at sompoint. The views are amazing from the hotel or on the bridge nearby.

Lovely hotel with a lot of character and history. Great location for sight seeing and scenery. Rooms were nice and cosy. Bit of a squeeze for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) but we only stayed for 1 night. Breakfast to order was lovely. We ate dinner next door at the pub/ bar.

We had a lovely two night stay at the Sligachan Hotel. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy with good pillows, and the rain shower feature in the bathroom was wonderful! We had a nice view of the water from our window. The bar next door, Seumas' Bar had an excellent selection of whiskey, a very nice dinner menu. The sea bass was fabulous and the honey cake dessert was divine. We would like to especially thank Mariam at the front desk for being so kind and helpful during our stay.

The room was beautiful and the location was nice and central. Gorgeous view in the mornin, wonderful staff. I loved how classic the exterior of the building appeared and how modern the inside of the room was. Would stay here every time if I could.

Hotel was quaint, clean, and staff was friendly. First issue was the suite we had booked because of the large spa tub wasn’t working. We called the front desk from our personal phone ( no phone in the suite) and they shared the water had been turned off because it leaks into the room below-the tub was prominently featured on the room photos and was a main reason for booking the suite. The second issue was due to no carpeting in the room and assuming little insulation-every time we got up to use the shower or the bathroom the room below complained we were “moving” furniture around. Our evening was interrupting several times with the staff asking if we were moving furniture around and lastly with the tenet a below coming up and being rude -asking why we were using the bathroom and moving around so much. Additionally, if you like a firm mattress the beds will suit you, if you prefer a softer mattress you may want to consider staying somewhere else. There are no elevators/lifts so if you’re staying in the Pinnacle suite, it’s hard to navigate the stairs with large luggage.
