It was my first business trip to Dakar. I had problems in communicating with people working in Casa Mara because most of them understand French only. If you encounter problems, ask lady manager for help because she is the only person who can speak English fluently and has open-minded. The location is near the police academy, most of the cab driver had hard time in finding the hotel.

J’ai occupé une jolie chambre mais sans fenêtre. La porte d’entrée est vitrée mais elle donne sur une cour intérieure où les gens prennent le petit déjeuner, travaillent à l’ordinateur ou discutent juste en face de cette porte. Ils peuvent voir ce qui se passe dans la chambre. Il faut donc toujours garder les rideaux fermés. C’est donc une chambre complètement borgne.

L'équipe d'accueil est très sympathique. Le restaurant est délicieux et l'ambiance parfaite. Certaines chambres très jolies, d'autres humides, mal situées près des bureaux et de la réception. La piscine était en travaux lors de notre passage donc pas utilisable. Bon rapport qualité prix si vous avez l'une des jolies chambres.

Le cadre est très agréable, le bar restaurant propose des produits de qualité. J'aurai toutefois préférer une chambre côté court pour éviter les réveils à 4h dû au coque d'à côté. Problème également de pression d'eau dans la chambre 15. Le matelas n'était pas très confortable également. Mais malgré cela j'y retournerai... Dans une autre chambre.

Great room, excellence service and food both breakfast and dinner were great.

Séjour très agréable, hôtel a taille humaine, très accueillant et sympathique, sans prétention petite piscine très bien pour se relaxer en fin de journée restaurant très bon je serai prête à revenir lors de mon prochain déplacement professionnel

Me ecantó la limpieza y orden en este albergue. Especialmente el canto de pajaros.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the roof is amazing and have a nice selection of Gin in the bar :) the rooms are basic but large.

Un petit hotel à taille humaine qui donne l'impression de dormir dans un jardin à la campagne et pas en plein Dakar. Très bon petit déjeuner simple et fait maison, service aux petits soins.

Riad-like guest house. The room was correct. The staff was extremely helpful, they are caring and service-minded. They supported to find taxis every day of my stay and were ready to help with anything!

everything was perfect and the hotel is really nice

la chambre a besoin d'un sérieux refraichissement la restauration est bonne, petit déjeuner à volonté basique avec parfois quelque bonne surprise

Staff shouted at me in front of many guests and diners as they had no experience with expedia pre paid bookings. I was humilliated - Mr Sidaty was genuinely shouting at me that he was going to frogmarch me to ATM while threatening to block me from leaving the hotel in the morning ('you'll see, you'll be late to the airport'). He later conceded but had refused to attempt to read my receipt or to contact the person in charge of pre laid bookings as it was a Sunday and they don't work Sundays... Upon requesting a glass of wine after this crappy experience, and with no other guests eating at this time, Sidaty disappeared into the office and for 15 minutes proceeded to chat with the guard, insisting all the time he was coming. I had to request 4 times to get served. Final straw was that I twice notified of my early departure and was twice told by Mr. Sidaty that a breakfast pack would be ready to go for me in the morning, which unsurprisingly it wasn't.

Nice hotel with pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Tapas restaurant on top with somewhat uneven quality of food. Not much in the surounding area but taxis a plenty

zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer -ausreichend- nur ein kleiner Kühlschrank zum kühlen der Getränke fehlte in unserem Zimmer, bei längerem Aufenthalt wäre dies zweckmäßig Personal TOP sehr freundlich--fast familiär...wir werden dort wir unterkommen

This hotel was very convenient, and delighted my experience during my stay in Dakar. The staff was very friendly and ready to help with any need that came up. I will definitively recommend the CasaMara hotel to anyone.
