You arrive as a guest ,you leave as a friend Having just spent a week at the Hotel Acajou Beach resort and I have to say Joanise and her team really go out of their way to make their guests feel special . Set on the beautiful Cote D’or beach every little finishing touch has been thought of , but what makes it extra special are the friendly ,hard working staff. The food courtesy of chef Indika and his team was always a delight and as well as tasting delicious was presented beautifully. As I previously said all the staff were absolutely first class with nothing ever too much trouble but a special mention has to go to Andrew, Indika and most of all Suresh whose smile is almost as bright as the sunshine and is one of the most pleasant ,happy, and helpful people I have ever met. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything you need and also a super efficient air conditioning . There was never a problem getting a sun bed either at the pool or at the beach ( although little side tables at the beach would be nice ) Would I stay here again ? In a heartbeat .

Hôtel au calme situé dans un jardin tropicale. Grande plage de sable blanc isolée au pied de l'hôtel. Dommage qu'il y ai quelques algues mais c'est naturel. Chambre parfaite et propre. Prendre la demi pension (dîner) est plus que nécessaire. Petit déjeuner et dîner sous forme de très bon buffet. Belle piscine à débordement. Wifi pas très performant. Si vous prenez une voiture de location attention. Conduite à gauche et route très étroite, mais c'est jouable si vous êtes prudent.

Trevligt mottagande. Rummet hade en fantastisk utsikt mot havet. Placeringen av hotellet vid stranden var fantastiskt . Supertrevlig personal. Åt buffén några kvällar men var inget speciellt . Hotellet var rätt slitet men skulle tydligen renoveras. Tycker att priset var väldigt högt för standarden.

A wonderful place to stay in Praslin

Les buffets à themes différents tous les soirs est une excellente idée. La plage de l hôtel est tout simplement magnifique.

En av de bästa vistelserna någonsin. hotellet hade en väldigt positiv dynamik, alla var bra och roliga. Maten var outstanding. Beach nära med bekväma solstolar.

Super sejour a l Acajou. Tres bel hotel, le jardin est superbe et tres bien entretenu. Les chambres sont agreables. Petit dejeuner tres copieux et varie, un regal. Service de massage tres bien. Personnel tres agreable. Seul Bemol le WIFI qui fonctionne vraiment tres tres mal

Our only remark is that Wifi connection is very poor or unexistent. The "solution" provided by the staff was not working at all. I think the hotel should either improve this or not offer wifi at all.

Very nice hotel with nice staff. The hotel i nicely situated at the beach, a beach where there are relatively few people and which is not crowded with hotels or other buildings. Especially rooms with beachview is highly recommended.

es ist ein idealer Ort um sich zu erholen! aber ab 23.00 Uhr ist alles (inkl. Bar) zu. für ein 4 Sterne Hotel finde ich es früh! vorallem da man dort gut draussen gemütlich sitzen kann und es immer noch sehr mild ist!

Staff prestativo e simpático, alimentação de qualidade e uma localização muito aprazível.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Supermarkt und Restaurants fußläufig (10 min) zu erreichen. Das Restaurant des Acajou Beach Resort hat gutes bis sehr gutes Essen (a la Carte und täglich wechselndes Buffet), allerdings relativ hochpreisig und das vegetarische Angebot könnte größer sein. Frühstücksbüffet mit großem Angebot. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

The overall stay was fine and pleasant. The property and room was clean, though a little patchwork was visible on the walls. The spa and massage was very nice. The staff was friendly but had some weird policies like not giving water except on the first day of stay, so had to buy water, which is normally expected from a hotel to be provided. The pool was okay, not exactly infinity but serviceable. There were not many beach view apartments which was a bummer, but the balconies and surrounding nature made up for it. The attached beach felt private and clean. Please go in expecting an apartment instead of a standard resort room with an in-room kitchen and utensils, and you'll be fine. I won't call it value for money because despite paying a lot of money, breakfast was not included in our stay, but the overall standard was nice and warm.

Property was clean and the staff were welcoming . Creole buffet/ barbecue and breakfast were also good

Beau établissement mais niveau plutôt 3 étoiles sup. Un peu vieillissant dans la deco des chambres notamment. Ptit déjeuner juste moyen. Personnel très pro et sympa.

Le meilleur hôtel de la plage de Volbert sur l’île de Praslin. La plage est la plus belle devant l’hôtel. Très propre et confortable, menu varié tous les jours, le personnel est très serviable. Les chambres son magnifiques avec terrasse ou balcon dans un jardin très entretenu. La piscine est parfaite pour enfants et adultes avec un club house avec une bonne carte.Serviettes et transats son à la disposition des résidents. Arrêt de bus devant l’hôtel pour pouvoir se déplacer facilement partout sur l’île sans grand frais. A choisir sans hésiter.

This hotel is very well managed and everything seems so very local. It took us about 20 minutes or so to reach the hotel from the Ferry terminal using a cab. Although one could book a fairly good car at the ferry terminal, we chose not to on the first day but in hindsight this may be the better option instead of spending on a cab as car rentals are very inexpensive on the island. The check-in process was very smooth and they gave us a welcome drink and a wet towel to freshen up. As the room was not ready, they gave us help with the location and explained what we could potentially do. There is a small village nearby (about 10 minutes walk away either on the road or on the beach) where there are shops (most essential to buy a SIM card) and other restaurants. The local PADI dive centre is in that village too. There is a food truck which sells some good local food and a fruit vendor where one can have cooonut water and other exotic fruits. The room was ready by the time we got back and it was a great room with a view of and direct access to the beach and ocean. The beach is great for long walks at any time of day or night. Breakfast was really superb with a wide selection of all sorts of local/western cuisine and the bar and restaurant served some really good local delicacies for lunch/dinner like Octopus curry (best on the island) and mixed vegetable curry. All the staff were very friendly and the hotel is very well managed.
