Find the place to be clean and with all amenities as advertised, host was friendly, enjoyed our overnight stay.

Room was a bit stuffy for our sinus’

Although the manager was very accommodating, the room was stuffy and congested and had a damp smell, he then moved us to a bigger Pom but still there was no circulation and it was doing icky to sleep

Excellent service from Shaun the manager.Place has lots of potential. Suitable to just sleep and shower. Outside breakfast area needs some maintenance and sprucing up. Beds need new mattresses. Breakfast is a plus and price is affordable.Breakfast staff need some jacking up.

Enjoyed my brief 2 day stay. The manager was very friendly and the place was neat and clean. The breakfast included was really good as well. Friendly cleaning staff.

I liked the fact that it is within walking distance of shops and quite close to the Town Museum. They serve a full breakfast.

The place definitely does not look like it does in the photographs. My room smelt a bit musty and the basin needs replacing. the toilet, although clean can do with a revamp. The mat in the bedroom and toilet can be replaced with something better than the ugly striped mat it had. I feel that they need to have a screen available for the shower as it is in the bedroom and open. Not everyone wants an open shower, which I certainly would not have liked if there were two of us, whether male or female. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The entrance is a bit confusing. There is a sign that says "Ring the Bell" but I could not find any bell. Luckily the manager was around and he noticed my car at the side gate. Breakfast was nice and the breakfast room clean with decent crockery/cutlery. Secured parking an added bonus. All in all, it was good value for money. My huge bed was a bonus - very comfortable although no view.

Our room was very small and not great. There were however some really nice rooms which weren't occupied. I found it strange that they put us in that room seeing that there were lovely rooms unoccupied for the whole time we were there. Staff were awesome, the manager was very helpful and the place extremely clean.

Litet charmigt o enkelt guest-house. Trevligt o service-inriktat. Bra bemötande. Tyvärr ingen a-c. Relativt små men pyntade rum i grekisk stil. Passar bra för övernattning på väg mot garden-route. Skyddad och bra bilparkering. Samhället ett sådant man bäst passerar.

Caledon was a stopover on my travel around the south of South Africa. However I really enjoyed my night here. The manager was friendly and helpful,the hotel charming and the room very comfortable. The meal at the local pub was good also. The only problem was figuring out how to ring the bell which is inside the gate.
