The building is dilapidated and looks like a drug nest. There was no reception or lobby-no one explained that the reception is in Hotel GHM down the street. Finally, after 45 minutes of getting there and getting lost, we got a key and headed back to the Bulgaria building.
It needs major upkeep and renovation. However the apartments themselves are ok. There was a sewage smell to our bathroom, but it wasn't overpowering. In our "studio for 2 people," we found 5 twin beds. It was a little crowded for such a tiny room and if we had known we would have invited friends to split the cost. The view was outstanding though, directly across from the mountain. The place seemed clean enough, warm enough, and was comfortable enough to sleep in, however the noise level was very high. The partiers were up until 5am and the skiers got up at 7am so you won't sleep much. The location is great though, right next to the stairs going down to the main square and only steps to the chair lift (which you will have to pay for if you don't have a lift ticket). It's in a very convenient location to come and go throughout the day from the mountain, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs just below the building. There was no wifi.
Overall if you're looking for a place to lay your head, this is a good spot. It's clean and well located, but the outside of the building and common areas will turn you off.
