The property and staff were fantastic - great value for money.

Das Hotel ist auf den ersten Blick etwas unscheinbar. Wir sind allerdings positiv überrascht, dass es modern eingerichtet und eine schöne Poolanlage geboten hat. Die Zimmer waren schön groß. Das Frühstücksbüffet bot eine gute Auswahl.

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr schön, die Zimmer groß und das Bett gemütlich. Der Poolbereich ist schön und die Auswahl beim Frühstück sehr vielfältig und lecker. Allerdings waren wir etwas überrascht von der täglichen Live-Musik, die immer bis 23:30/24 Uhr ziemlich laut lief, so dass man sie sogar auf dem Zimmer gehört hat. Beim Pool-Bereich wurden die Tische nie abgewischt und man fand sie am nächsten Tag, verdreckt und klebrig wieder, auf der Toilette am Pool gab es 2 Tage lang kein Klopapier und man wartet Ewigkeiten bei dem Pool-Restaurant/ Bistro bis man 1. wahrgenommen wird und 2. bis jemand dann auch die Bestellung aufnimmt. Der Manager dieses Restaurants hat vor unseren Augen eine Kellnerin angeschnauzt, weil sie uns einen Tisch gegeben hat, obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten (es waren fast noch alle Tische frei & wir sind Hotelgäste gewesen).

Chambre spacieuse, tres propre. Petit dejeuner bon et varié. 3 piscines. Seul bemol, il n'y a qu'un seul ascenseur qui est tombé en panne durant notre sejour. Avec une poussette, ce n'est pas pratique.

Good all round hotel

Für mich keine fünf Sterne. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und groß. Aber leider war der Check-in sehr schlecht. Es war sehr viel Personal vor Ort, aber alle waren überfordert und extrem unfreundlich. Die Pool Anlagen sind sehr dreckig. Die leeren Gläser stehen überall auf den Tischen, keiner räumt diese weg. In den Blumenkästen stecken überall Zigaretten und die Liegen sind dreckig. Auf den Zimmer fehlt ein Kühlschrank und Bademäntel, was für mich zu einen fünf Sterne Hotel dazu gehört. Das Essen und Frühstück war gut. Alles in allem habe ich mich aufgrund des unfreundlichen Personals und der zum Teil sehr dreckigen und unaufgeräumten öffentlichen Bereichen nicht wohlgefühlt.

Se nota que el hotel es de reciente construcción. Todo nuevo, bonito, arreglado, habitación amplia, cama enorme (180 cms), cena y desayuno buffet muy completo. Servicios de SPA, 3 piscinas. Todo perfecto

We had a family suite which was indeed a very nice accommodation. Enjoyed a lot to stay there if you want to have a more cosy hotel. Food and Service were indeed excellent !

Et flott hotell. Rent og pent, nydelig suite. Synes ikke det lever helt opp til 5 stjerner, men absolutt et fint hotell. Mindre hotell enn jeg så for meg. Litt lite annet å gjøre for barn enn å bade, men fint basseng.

A fabulous hotel with a wonderful team of management and staff. We will definitely be back!

Exceeded expectations

Hotel nuevo y decorado con gusto. No es demasiado grande, con lo que te sientes muy a gusto sin aglomeraciones. Personal muy amable. Desayuno muy rico, con productos de calidad. En definitiva, para repetir!!

Nice Hotel but is not 5 star . The food in the restaurant at night was awful as was the breakfast next day . It was cold and there were no name tags on the food so you have no idea what you are eating. Raised this with staff nobody was interested. I don’t know many 5star hotels that serve a buffet as an evening meal with no waiter service Left these comments on hotels own feed back form but yet have had no reply Other guests were not happy with the food quality in the restaurant The pool bar for lunch was perfect This was a birthday surprise for my partner Very disappointed I notice on other web sites that the quantity of food and ranking of this Hotel has been a common complaint

Hotel moderno, con buenos servicios, lo mejor los jardines y la piscina. Lo peor la cena, muy floja para la categoría del hotel, postres pobres y fruta reseca. El desayuno de gran calidad.

Magnifica decoración y una instalación muy cómoda y actual

The experience at Barcelo La Nuncia Palms was a big disappointment and borderline scam. Standards reflect a 3 star Motel, not a 5 star ‘luxury resort’, which is also reflected in the service level and compassion towards guests. One can accept a certain level of flaws with a newly opened hotel, but this was completely unacceptable and anyone considering to visit the hotel should be prepared to take a deep breath and monitor their pulse closely. Despite filling in all the information in their “pre check-in form”, we still had to queue and provide the same information again, then to be told that the room would not be ready until later (4 hours after check-in opens). Once arriving in the room, they had forgot towels, amenities, robes, water, etc. which was then blamed on Corona when questioning in the reception… unacceptable. After raising my voice, we received towels and the following day, we received two bottles of water (without bottle opener, not included). The pool area has one shallow pool for kids and one for adults. Despite this, one has to put up with screaming children in the adult pool with jumping and splashing, without the staff saying anything. The level of irritation amongst adults around the pool was high and nobody could relax. The pictures don’t give a fair view of the premises, and the surroundings are depressive with big supermarkets and car dealerships. Again, massive disappointment and I’ll be seeking compensation for these 4 days of misery.

From check-in (which took approx. 1 hour) to the room allocation (which was wrong on the first occasion, to the dinner (which was far short of 5*), to the pool capacity (whereby guests had essentially rushed down before breakfast to throw towels on all the loungers so that by 10am everything was full), the place has a sense of having been rushed into opening without having an experienced team nor set of policies in place. I struggle to see how this can be listed as a 5* hotel and, having stayed at others in the area, can comfortably say that it does not sit in the same category as them.
