Beautiful traditional hotel near town centre. Village is without doubt the prettiest on the island. Great centre for walking or cycling in the mountains.

Authentic building, clean and very well fitted out. Positives: location/ Anna (VERY helpful & friendly manager)/ comfort/ good pool side area. To improve: garden needs a good 'haircut'/ pool water is too cold for anyone to properly enjoy a swim/ breakfast needs more imagination a bit of variety.. include granola and better quality breads/ pastries. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Hotel is wonderful. The pool area and the outside bar are fantastic. We ere let down with our room facilities

Wonderful hotel in the centre of Fornalutx - historic stone building in impeccable condition with excellent facilities (well appointed and large rooms, great outdoor areas including pool) and very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Can Verdera, all the staff were attentive and Anna was extremely helpful organising taxis, restaurants and walks. Breakfast in the shaded garden was a real treat and we enjoyed nightly pre dinner drinks on the terrace overlooking the mountains . Great place to take advantage of the stunning local scenery.

Hotellpersonalen mycket vänlig och trevlig. Frukosten som serverades vid bordet var trevlig och väl tilltagen trots att det inte var en buffé. Liten fräsch utomhuspool nära rummen. Ganska lite ort som passar perfekt för dem som vill vandra till fots eller cykla. Vi hade ett rum ganska nära huvudingången. Något lyhört från korridoren in till rummet. Antagligen finns rum med mindre ljud. Vårt rum har dock en egen stor altan med passage till pool och frukost i innergården. Mysigt.

Can Verdera is a quiet haven with wonderful views and elegant rooms. A great place to read by the pool in the magical garden, but with village cafes and restaurants nearby. The manager, Ana, and staff were helpful though I did wish staff had been a bit more present in the afternoons and early evenings around the pool and near the bar on the upper terrace. Also, a better selection of wines behind the bar would be good.

Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Dunkel, einsehbar von der Strasse. Laut. Hotel hat eine Eirichtung sehr 80er Jahre. Aussenbereich sehr schön. Frühstück okay aber aufgebackene Brötchen muss nicht sein .

Belle adresse .L'hôtel dispose d'un magnifique point de vue sur la TRAMONTANA et d'un merveilleux jardin . Le personnel est très agréable.

It was a real pleasure and a discovery to stay there. The hotel is a renovated century-old building combining high quality modern amenities with classic touches. The staff is friendly and very attentive, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast is plentyful and healthy. The views from the pool and upper reading deck overlooking the valley are just breathtaking. Being located in a historical village, in a pedestrian district, there is no traffic so it is extremely quiet and it is a great starting point for hiking and cycling. Just one warning for people with mobility issues: there is no elevator in the hotel and the parking is about 200m down a steep street. I will definitely go back.

Mange meget flotte vandrestier langs olivenlunde og marker med citron og appelsintræer. Ruterne er godt afmærkede og der er mange forskellige ruter.

Wir haben für ein verlängertes Wochenende im Ca'n Verdera übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt mitten im alten Ortskern (direkte Anfahrt daher nicht möglich, Parkplätze ca 300-800m an der Hauptstraße oder Richtung Friedhof), aber dennoch mit einem wunderschönen Garten inkl Pool. Der Blick aus dem Garten/vom Pool in das Tal von Soller und die Gebirgszüge der Tramuntana sind traumhaft. Die toll gelegene Lounge im oberen Garten war leider nicht (bzw nur sehr eingeschränkt) geöffnet. Hier liesse sich wunderschön ein Drink vor oder nach dem Dinner (in einem Restaurant in Fornalutx, Soller oder der Hafenpromenade von Puerto de Soller) genießen. Das Hotel eignet sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Tramutana - wir können eine Besteigung des l'Ofre nur empfehlen (ca 4h hin und zurück ab Stausee Cuber): ein toller 360 Grad Blick über den westlichen Teil der Insel. Wir empfehlen ein Zimmer mit Gartenblick, zB Nr 3, Bad hier aber eher klein und niedrig (für meine Körpergröße von 1,85m nur knapp möglich). Der Service war jederzeit zuvorkommend, allerdings wäre eine bessere Betreuung im Garten/Pool/Lounge vorteilhaft. Trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung!!!

If you are looking for a quiet gettaway then this is ideal. It really isnt a place to take your children as it is so quiet and perfect therefore for couples to relax and unwind. One downside of the location is that to get into Soller or the port is either a bus journey or taxi which is not ideal if you want a bit more restaurant option than Fornalux offers.
