We had the most amazing time at Finca Valdobar! We stayed in the Torreón Apartment, the largest of the four charming units on the property. The entire finca is peaceful, welcoming, and full of character.
Félix, the property manager, was incredible. From the smooth check-in to his spot-on recommendations for local food and wine, to the extra thoughtful touches that made our stay so special. One morning, he even brought us freshly baked bread, and when we arrived, he had stocked the fridge with cheeses, ham, milk, and orange juice, all included in the price.
The rooms were spotless and the air conditioning worked perfectly, a big plus during the warm summer days.
We were on a family trip and our daughters had a blast riding the bikes provided by the finca into town and enjoying the pool. It was a perfect weekend of relaxation, comfort, and discovery.
We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Site fait de petit appartements, endroit sympathique et totalement privé avec un portail énorme type Hacienda (vous aurez une télécommande), barbecue, piscine, vélos à disposition, mur (énorme) pour pelote ou tennis (tout à disposition)...
Les "gîtes" sont côte à côte, sans vis à vis réel, il y a une terrasse devant et privée derrière vue sur le petit cours d'eau.
L'appartement est très bien équipé, tout y est, même une cave à vin régionaux de 8 à 30€..top !
L'endroit est à 500m du centre ville de Castillo de Peñafiel, tout est accessible rapidement.
Enfin le propriétaire est toujours disponible, le moindre appel il arrive de suite, très sympathique.

A estadia foi muito boa. Anfitrião atencioso e apartamento bem equipado e bem cuidado. Ofereceu queijos, suco, presunto, biscoitos para um café da manhã na habitação, além de ter dado boas dicas de passeios na região. Recomendo.

Die Finca Valdobar hat einen traumhaften Hof mit verspielten Sitzmöglichkeiten, einem idyllischen Brunnen, zahlreichen Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder (Trampolin, Tennis, Basketball, Fussball, Velos, etc) sowie schönen Bäumen mit Hängematte. Die Wohnungend sind gut eingerichtet mit antiken Möbeln, modernen Bädern und funktionaler Küche. Felix ist ein exzellenter Gastgeber, der uns jeden Wunsch erfüllte! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Vielen Dank Felix!

Super comfy renovated apartment with everything you'd need for a perfect stay.
A separate comment for Felix, the host. He is AMAZING .. He takes the time to explain everything you'd need for a great visit. He even includes a wine cooler in your room (with excellent local options).
Highly recommended!

Incrível lugar. Penafiel e um charme por se só e a Finca Valdobar e um tesouro na cidade. Começando que fica a margem de um afluente do rio Douro com uma bela paisagem mesmo em dias frios de inverno. Felix nos recepcionou com maestria indicando mesmo em um dia a noite com tudo fechado o que poderiamos ver, fazer e comer na cidade, além de mencionar detalhes da história que trazem ainda mais um charme pra cidade. Uma pena que tivemos tão pouco tempo pra explorar ainda mais em detalhes. Mesmo com chuva a cidade tem seus encantos seja no castelo ou nos detalhes de sua plaza del coso! Uma maravilha que certeza em uma outra oportunidade iremos retornar! Muito obrigado ao Felix e a familia Finca Valdobar pela excepcional recepção! O quarto oferece uma linda vista e tudo estava disponível para uma excelente hospedagem!

Nous avons souhaité faire une pause familiale car nous avons un travail prenant. Deux nuits dans un endroit paisible, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour s’occuper au calme. Deux piscines, balade en vélo et canoë, hamac, basket, squash, foot, petite rivière à proximité….les enfants étaient ravis!
Appartement très qualitatif, très propre, avec tout ce qu’il faut, literie parfaite.
La cerise sur le gâteau : des propriétaires aux petits soins et d’une gentillesse rare!
