The apartment is very dark, nothing like the pictures. Not worth the price in the off season, as there are great hotels/AirBnBs for less in the area. The bathroom is minuscule, with an awful smell that transfers to the adjacent bedroom, and when I arrived, there were hairs everywhere in the shower... I notified the owner, but she had a «what can you do» attitude about it. She said I should be happy with an apology. The breakfast was laughable, no coffee, just a few dry biscuits and peach jam. The utensils and the fridge were filthy. I was kept waiting with damp clothes after I got to the apartment in the pouring rain because the owner needed to verify that the cash I gave her friend who welcomed me for the cleaning fee (ironic, given the state of the place) in dollars (the website did not specify that card payment was not an option, so that’s all I had on me) was real (of course, in her mind, I would try conning her for the fee after having paid more than 100 euros for the room at the time of booking, tsk). She demanded more than she was owed with the excuse that it was foreign currency. When I saw the state the apartment was in, I asked for the situation to be rectified, either with an immediate cleaning session (it was the early afternoon, so plenty of time) or the reimbursement of the cleaning fee. She refused both, and was rude and aggressive throughout. Someone tried to come into the apartment twice, once at night, so I did not feel safe. It was a truly scary experience.
