호텔 일루니온 바르셀로나

스페인에 여러번 가봤지만 이런 호텔은 처음이네요. 불친절, 거짓말을 일삼는 직원들과 최악의 태도의 매니지먼트. 다시는 주변에도 거고싶지 않네요. One of the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Facility is actually ok, but the attitude of the employees makes this hotel so horrible.

Nice clean hotel in a quiet part of town. Excellent facilities and ambience. There wasnt much to do nearby the place but there are some food / shopping options which are walkable.

WiFi strong Communal areas clean and very cool! Staff SO friendly Breakfast was amazing every day

Muy buena habitación: amplia, bien equipada, confortable. La ubicación muy buena, en zona comercial de Poblenou con muchas opciones de restaurantes y bares. La única objeción la merece el sistema de wi-fi que requiere reconectarse muchas veces y esa reconexión suele tomar tiempo.

I love the hotel and the area of the hotel; there were lots of nearby restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast is additional fee and I just wished it is included on the fare

We have stayed here several times, short walk from Gibraltar airport, very short walk into town. Very clean, accommodating and helpful staff and a reasonably priced breakfast (they will cook fried eggs, omelettes, pancakes to order which avoids the luke warm buffet as they usually are when catering for many people) and REAL fresh orange juice (as opposed to the ‘squash’ they serve up at other places!). Pool looks nice, a bit small but we’ve always been off season so not been in as obviously it has been closed. Not posh etc but perfectly adequate at a reasonable price. Easily walkable to Gibraltar border, then a cheap bus service to Gibraltar sights.

It was a great stay - the team on arrival accommodated a request and gave me a surprise upgrade to an executive room which was unexpected but extremely welcomed - thank you! This was a personal solo trip and my first time in Barcelona which made it even more special. The hotel is very welcoming and convenient locations with local buses right next to it and a metro stop about 5min walk. You can walk to the Gothic Quarter (15min) and the Beach (10min) as well as to the centre if you fancy a little bit of a stroll (over half hour depending).

Nice area, away from mass tourism, hotel clean and spacey. Unfortunately, the pool was under renovation, but will most likely be great going forward

The room was spotless. Staff was very warm and welcoming! Loved it!

Overall, the experience was below what we would expect from a four-star hotel. The check-in process was disorganized and slow. We arrived as two couples and were initially told there were no rooms on the same floor. We were first assigned an accessible room on the second floor that was not very appealing. After requesting a change, a room on the fourth floor suddenly became available, which felt inconsistent — especially since another group of friends arriving later was immediately given a room on that same floor. We were also not properly informed in advance that the hotel was under renovation. This was only communicated by Expedia about 30 minutes before arrival, which should have been disclosed much earlier. The rooms were clean, tidy, and very spacious, but outdated and not at the level expected of a four-star hotel. Additionally, both the shower and sink drains were clogged, and the body soap dispenser was empty on the first night (it was refilled the next day). At check-out, despite being told the check-out time was 12:00 pm, our key card was deactivated at 11:20 am, forcing us to ask housekeeping to open the door. Reception explained this was done automatically by the system, without any prior notice. While the rooms were large and clean, the lack of communication and operational issues significantly affected the overall experience.
