마르고트 하우스

카사 바트요 길 건너편에 위치해 있고 바로 앞에 지하철 3개 노선이 다니는 역이 있는 등 위치적인 면에서는 대단히 훌륭합니다. 감각적인 인테리어나 깔끔한 조식 등도 매우 훌륭합니다. 다만, 호텔로서의 기본적인 부분은 아쉬운 면이 눈에 띄었습니다. 예를 들어, (다른 방은 어떤지 모르겠습니다만 제가 묵었던 방은) 냉장고, 다리미 등이 없었고, 창문도 없는데 조명마저 매우 어두웠습니다. (창문이 하나 있기는 했지만 맞은 편 건물 벽면이 보이는, 빛이 거의 들어오지 않는 무의미한 창문이었습니다.) 호텔 어메니티의 기본인 칫솔, 치약 등도 없었구요. 이런 면들은 1주일 넘게 투숙하다보니 눈에 들어오는 단점들이었고, 처음에 들어가자마자는 너무 깔끔하고 모던한 인테리어에 감동 받았었습니다. 짧게 하루이틀 묵기엔 별 문제 없겠지만 (출장 목적 등으로) 장기로 투숙하기엔 좀 부적합해보였습니다.

감각적인 호텔이예요 제방은 창문이 없어서 별로 엿지만 적당한 크기에 깨끗한 방이였어요 조식서비스가 좀 특이 햇구 ( 헬퍼가 계란후라이릉 해줘요) 라운지? 공간이 예뻣어요 카페처럼

지리적으로 너무 탁월합니다.까사바트요가 바로 건너편에 있고 3개라인의 메트로역이 바로앞에있습니다.호텔이 아닌 매우 깔끔한가정집느낌이여서 더욱 편안하였고 특히 직접만든 빵과 조식들 그리고 심지어 직접만든 생과일쥬스등 너무 맛있었습니다.신시가지 중심이라 관광하기에 너무 좋은 지리적 조건이 너무 좋았습니다.

Do not book this place. Air Conditioner is broken. They never informed to customers instead lied every day that they are going to fix it. The property manager never showed up. It was over 100 degree inside the room and I had to open my door so the air can circulate. I couldn’t rest during daytime nor sleep at night. Please do not ever book this place.

Great hotel with limited rooms and great location. Staff are nice, room is spacious and good view, tasty decoration, sound proof even located at big street. Comfortable and clean, lots restaurants and bars nearby.

The staff of the Margot were terrific. Their guidance on where to eat, the best way to get around, and local color was top drawer. The hotel is in the heart of tthe city, across from the Gaudi House, and close to some amazing Tapas restaurants. Staying here was living living there. the small 9 room hotel occupied one floor of a residential building giving it a homey relaxed feel. The room had a full view of the boulevard.

This place is unique and impressive. It’s a truly boutique type of place with 9 rooms, making it quaint and friendly. Overall design is contemporary, welcoming and functional. If you want to experience a different setting with exceptional staff, this is the place. Location is second to none. Highly recommend!!!! Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful property. Excellent staff. Breakfast choices for everyone. Next time we visit Barcelona we are definitely staying at Margot House.

El hotel está divino, una vista y un servicio inmejorable. Nos ofrecieron una botella cuando llegamos, nos comentaron que no hubo upgrade porque teníamos el mejor cuarto. El desayuno delicioso y divino. El espacio perfecto para baño, regadera y la cama comodisima. Este hotel es una joya escondida en Barcelona.

First, the hotel manager Narcis and staff Paulo were excellent. Very helpful and friendly in many ways. The location is the best, on the street right across Casa Batlló. Many great shops and restaurants. The light up on Batlló was beautiful and easy to see from my room window. Our room was right on the street but quiet thanks to the great sound proof of the hotel rooms. Very spacious and modern room with Aesop amenities. I recommend having breakfast there. Everything was delicious! Lots of fruits, croissants, hams, eggs to be cooked, pancakes, and more. Perfect start of the day. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much :)

Staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas felt like a living room and relaxing after a long day of walking.

I enjoyed staying here, but I did have a few frustrations. First, our room had no windows to the outside. I believe four of the nine rooms in total have windows? We asked to switch but they were all booked. No windows made it difficult to wake up because I never really knew what time it was, and I missed the morning sunshine. Second, the shower had no door, and while a cool concept it made the entire room very humid and steamy. We had to keep to short showers. Third, finding the hotel was very difficult. It doesn’t say Margot House anywhere. It’s a black gate next to the Swarovski store, and you have to buzz the hotel and wait until someone lets you in. I believe another guest did have an issue with waiting too long. It was a little inconvenient to have to buzz and wait for someone to let you up. They had to buzz 2 doors and then you walked in and took the stairs or elevator up 1 floor and then had to buzz the last door to get in the hotel. If I was in a quick hurry, it would be inconvenient to sit there waiting. Lastly, you had to give your key back every time you left. When you came back, they would give it to you. I’ve never experienced this before so it also felt a little inconvenient to not have the key on hand. On another note, it was very clean. The inside of the hotel was cute and minimalistic, but just few windows which was odd to me. The breakfast looked good but we didn’t have it included/opted out. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us!

Me gustó todo sobre la propiedad, es una casa y te hacen sentir en casa. La ubicación es excelente! El desayuno muy variado e muy rico. El personal increíble, sobretodo Narciso, nos ayudó en todo, muy cálido y todas fueron soluciones. Muchas gracias!! Volveremos

We like boutique hotels for their charm and personality, but don’t like to sacrifice quality. Margot House was an ideal fit for us. In a secure building, Margot House occupies an entire floor with 9 rooms, and very warm and tasteful common areas. The staff was great - both friendly and attentive, starting with Safa who contacted us in advance of our stay and arranged a driver from the airport and also reserved a table for us at 2254 Tapas - great meal and setting just around the corner. The hotel is situated in a very nice area of town that is charming and an easy walk to areas like the Gothic Quarter. It is also located immediately across the street from Casa Botllo - we looked out at it from our room! The room itself was tasteful and spacious for a big city hotel room. We had large windows looking onto Passeig de Gracia that were treated so no one could see in but also had an electronic blackout shade. The room had a Nespresso machine, all we could drink bottled water and a complimentary bottle of wine. We were also pleasantly surprised by the spacious 2 person shower and oversized bathtub. Other small but important niceties were ample sockets on either side of the bed, bedside switched reading lights, an in room safe, plenty of closet space across from a large seating nook, and most importantly, a comfortable bed! Overall it was a fantastic stay and hotel…. Thank you Margot House staff!
