Overall a well equipped, cozy place to be. Walkable to most local sites but the metro is also only a block away. Numerous restaurants in the immediate area. The apartment is cleaned daily by lovely ladies. The only issue we had was that we had was that the listing shows that the apartment is equipped with Air conditioning. It is, but there was no remote to operate it and when we asked we were told that the remote would not be available until May 1 and “to open the windows”. We were there for 4 nights in late April with the average temperatures in the mid to high 20’s and the option given was just not feasible as the place heated up quite badly. We tried closing and shuttering windows during the day to keep the place cool but that also did not cool enough to allow for a decent nights sleep as it was simply too warm. Even a portable fan would have helped.

Great stay!

Excellent location. Bedroom was away from street noises and very quiet. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and cookware. Nearby grocery and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Sehr zentrale, gute Lage, direkt an der U-Bahn „Opéra“ In der Nacht recht ruhig. Gute, freundliche Kommunikation mit der Unterkunft (Hostal).

Muy bien ubicado

This is a great and very accessible area. The Opera station it’s right there. Taxis are also available 24/7, which it’s convenient for the airport. The apartment it’s very well equipped and clean. You feel at home, it’s a private unit and has a washer which it’s one of the best perks! Beds are comfortable and the check in process was really proactive. You are close to all the restaurants and great areas of Madrid vibrant city. I will definitely book at Oriente suites again.

Absolute bang for your buck! Yhe apartment was super cute, VERY clean, and in such a great area! Picking up our keys was a breeze, you just have to pop around to the Hostal around the corner. Only a block from the metro and some awesome restaurants and a short walk to the Royal Palace and the Opera! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough! I didnt want to leave!

Excelente!! Muy buena ubicación, y pese a estar en una zona súper movida, se cierran las ventanas y no se escucha nada. En el departamento hay de todo, y las habitaciones individuales son impecables y acogedoras. A 1 minuto del Mercado San Miguel, a 1 minuto del metro de la ópera, a 2 minutos de Sol. Exelente!! En la recepción súper amables y se pueden dejar las maletas después del check out. Además zona para trabajar con internet.

La experiencia ha sido estupenda. El apartamento está muy bien situado y la atención que hemos recibido ha sido excelente.

First of all, the rooms here are not so bad. It's got basic amenities, a small kitchen, a small living room with a sofa, and a bedroom that sleeps two people. BUT, the service and the staffs were horrible. During my stay, water was entirely cut off for almost a whole day but the staffs told me to just wait and did nothing about it. I had to buy water from shops nearby to wash myself and I was never compensated for any of this. Plus, the price was very high compared to other apartment-type hotels nearby. Definitely would not recommend staying at this unfriendly place.

A localização é excepcional: junto ao metrô Opera, praça de Isabel II, pertíssimo da Placa Mayor, catedral, há um Carrefour a 2 min. O apartamento possui conforto, comodidades e limpeza, que é diária. Mobília nova, reformado. Fiquei no 5° andar, que possui um terraço.Valeu muito a pena, em Madrid, sempre retornarei ao Oriente Suítes da Calle Escalonada. A única ressalva é que não possui cofre na habitação.

Well placed little appartment within sight of the Theatre Real, about 2 minutes walk from the Royal Palace and five minutes from Plaza Major - so great as a base for exploring the city. Appartment well equiped, clean and comfortable (although you might not wish to sleep on the sofa bed for more than a couple of nights...). Good little balcony to sit on and watch the world go by.
