Great hotel, excellent service and food, very nice rooms. Unfortunately the pool bed reservation issue is ongoing for years. And 7:30am 80% of the pool beds are reserved with towels and most if it not used until 2pm. This is a typical “german” behavior but the hotel seems to be ok with it - unfortunately. Other hotels have clear rules about this.

The hotel was a last minute booking as we’d had to cancel our trip to Dubai. The hotel was good and we were given a pleasant room overlooking the pool. Hotel handily placed for walking the dunes and accessing other areas of the south coast. The restaurant was fine with enormous portions and plenty of choice at breakfast. Had two lunches in house which were not great. Two good pools - one with salt water and heated to around 35 degrees. The clientele were 85% German with quite a lot of elderly and infirm guests so not exactly party town. The bar was comfortable with quality entertainment each night. The gym was disappointing - described as containing state of the art Technogym equipment, but it was tiny and could only really cope with two people at a time. Water dispensers would have been a welcome addition round the pool as would a more disciplined sunbed booking procedure. Maspalomas was very busy during the day but quiet at night - guess it was too early in the season

Voor sommigen kan het hotel wat verouderd oven, maar wij vinden het vintage design van de bekende architect Pinto nog steeds top. Alle comfort in de kamer, supervriendelijk personeel, mooie afwisseling tussen wisselend à la carte menu en BBQ. Wij komen snel terug!

Fantastisches Essen

Wiedermal ein wunderbarer und erholsamer Aufenthalt im Palm Beach. Das Personal ist uns zum großen Teil schon seit Jahren bekannt. Die Mitarbeiter liefern einen aufmerksamen und herzlichen Service. Die Sauberkeit und die Instandhaltung selbst kleinster Details ist bewundernswert. Wir kommen natürlich gerne zurück.

Superior Room, Ocean View Room reasonably large with space for 2 people to move around comfortably. Plain balcony. Small, but very nice, bathroom with toilet and quite a large shower – could do with an extractor fan; window not as effective. Ocean view room means the opposite side of the hotel to pool and activities area, which means quieter. Nice beach and ocean view is over the hotel car park and a road of low rise beach front apartments. Very little noise from outside. Higher floor probably has better view and quieter. We were on the 4th floor and the view was pretty good, and were not bothered by any noise. Lots of wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space. 40+ inch TV. Several UK channels. Six digit safe in the wardrobe is just big enough for my 15.6 inch laptop. Wifi 10 mbps up / 10 mbps down in room. Wifi connection with room number is a bit hit and miss, but reception has a work around. Aircon fan was a little noisy, but it didn't stop us from sleeping. The aircon cooled the room fine. Double curtains kept out light very well. Hotel in general: Could do with more no smoking areas and more clearly sign posted. Good WiFi signal everywhere in hotel, even on my cheapo tablet. Excellent and very extensive breakfast buffet with a little table service. All staff and services were **excellent**, and staff were always very helpful. A large variety of activities and excursions can be booked from the concierge desk. Italian restaurant good. Rather good cabarets every night at bar.

Die Unterkunft hat ihren eigenen Charme und vermittelt eine gemütliche Atmosphäre; eine umfassende Sanierung der Zimmer wäre wünschenswert. Auf Hinweise wird adäquat und professionell reagiert. Service und Speisen im Restaurant sind hervorragend, das Personal stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus wird gerne von Stammgästen besucht, was sich auch in der Altersstruktur der Gäste widerspiegelt: überwiegend 70+. Der tropische Garten sowie der Sport- und Saunabereich laden zum Entspannen ein. Die Lage ist ideal für einen erholsamen Strandurlaub.

Very good service and very nice facilities. The food and service was great I will for sure come back again.
