A fantastic adults only resort! Staff were attentive and we recieved a high end service, rooms were clean, food was great, as was the entertainment! Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were fantastic. Lovely people and so helpful. Hotel and room was wonderful. We initially had a lower level room with some ‘ventilation issues’. No fuss was made by staff and we were quickly moved to an upper floor which was perfect. The hotel itself was always immaculate. The bar staff were great. The sushi restaurant was a particular highlight. The chefs were exceptional and everything was delicious. The restaurants were great. The staff exceptional and the food and drinks fantastic. A few little things to note. The toiletry products in the room were quite low quality. I expected better shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in what is advertised as 5 star. Silly things like not having real butter at breakfast seemed strange. Sun loungers were fine but probabaly could do with replacing with thicker mats. Overall, I would highly recommend for an All inclusive stay to relax and indulge.

Overall a good experience, however it’s not the same standard of property that we have experienced elsewhere at 5 star all inclusive resorts. We were standard all inclusive which was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend the Preferred upgrade as you get the same room, just a separate pool area, which uses the exact same sun beds as the rest of the resort, which are fine but nothing special.

The hotel is one of the most relaxing we have been at. Immensely well run by attentive staff, and then adding that the food (especially the desserts) was way above expectations. This is highly recommended if looking for a very calm hotel and experience

The highlights for me was the scuba diving center on site, fab breakfast, views of the sea and the staff. We will return.

This is a special property! The location is spectacular and SO quiet at the very edge of Puerto Calera. The rooms are modern and immaculate and the staff is friendly and efficient. The activities are mostly self directed (no group ones) and there is lovely live music entertainment each night. Resto options are fewer than most other Secrets we’ve been too but the food was excellent—fresh, healthy and delicious. We were grateful for all inclusive as without a car, we’d have to walk or taxi to Calera for meals and shopping otherwise. The perfect peaceful escape on the island.

The hotel staff and building are excellent; the location is remote so be prepared to walk 15 minutes to the harbour if not staying half/full board. That remoteness is part of the charm of why people stay here. The hotel is well maintained and all the staff are very helpful and multi-lingual, and the evening entertainment is good. Remember that this is an adults only hotel so the entertainment is aimed at a certain age.

Accueil chaleureux. Attention : si vous ne parlez pas espagnol ou anglais, il faut espérer qu'il y ai comme nous 2 stagiaires françaises car personne ne parle français dans l'hôtel. Nous sommes malheureusement tombées en période de travaux dans le restaurant donnant sur la piscine principale... Malgré toute la discrétion des ouvriers , le bruit de scie reste un bruit de scie... Comme de nombreux autres clients, nous n'avons pas été informés en amont de ces travaux et aucun dédommagement n'a été envisagé. Un restaurant en moins à disposition, le bruit et la vue des travaux : la prestation achetée n'était pas présente. De plus de nombreuses parties de l'hôtel sont réservées aux membres "prefered" : restaurant, solarium, piscine en bord d'océan... très mal indiqué sur l'annonce de l'hôtel sur Expedia. Une fuite énorme, non réglée pendant la durée de notre séjour de 10 jours... Celle si traversait 3 étages et à complètement détruit un plafond de couloir et a apporté une odeur d'égout fort désagréable. Lorsque nous avons indiqué ce problème , on nous a répondu que cela faisait plusieurs semaines et qu'aucune intervention n'avait eu lieu. Si vous allez au restaurant World Cafe (où a lieu obligatoirement le petit déjeuner) vous aurez le privilège de voir des oiseaux picorer les pains du buffet ainsi que les fromages, et des traces de fientes sur les cloisons du restaurant... Bel hôtel très bien situé avec des jardins très jolis, personnel gentil mais pas très professionnel...

The main pool bar and restaurant was being renovated during our stay. Some guests were advised by their travel agent up front . We were not informed. I contacted Expedia during my stay but have been told that there is nothing they can do. The hotel is a five star which I particularly have been looking at for a while and finally booked as part of a significant birthday celebration. The hotel is beautiful to look at but has no soul. It’s like a library. I wasn’t looking for the equivalent to a beach club but I was looking for a bit of life and fun. This had none. The lack of life combined with the drilling and banging of the renovation round the pool has made this a very disappointing stay. Unless you want the ultimate in peace and quiet I would not recommend the hotel

We booked Secrets Lanzarote after extensive research for our babymoon, specifically choosing an "adults-only" resort for the promised tranquility and relaxation before our baby arrives. Unfortunately, this was completely ruined by major, unannounced construction work which was not communicated to us beforehand. The construction went on for our entire stay, even during the weekend. In addition to this, the breakfast buffé, and dinner buffé was well below expectation for a 5-star hotel. Quite disapointed with our stay to be honest since I was expecting more from a Hyatt hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was great from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always willing to help, which made a big difference to our experience. The food was very good, with a nice variety and great quality. The spa was also wonderful, very relaxing and well equipped, making it a perfect place to unwind. We also really enjoyed the cocktails at the bar, which were delicious and well prepared. Overall, we truly loved our stay, felt very comfortable throughout, and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would happily come back again.

Overall this was a very nice holiday. The hotel is beautiful and very relaxing with no issues over getting sunloungers, food or drinks. Drinks were nice and bed was very comfy. The range of activities was also wonderful (eg cocktail making classes). The spa was fantastic - well worth a visit. Staff were hit and miss. Some staff were fantastic such as neomi (entertainment team - she went above and beyond and just exuded good vibes) and harsh in reception. However, i witnessed a few incidents where other staff were rude to guests which is not expected in any hotel let alone one in this price bracket. Unfortunately some facilities were being renovated during my stay (restaurants and bar) which meant the serenity was intereupted with the noise of power tools. It would have been nice had the hotel communicated this to be before check in. The seafood restaurant was fabulous and the staff there were great (particularly Ana and Valentine). However the buffet restaurant's food was mid and id hope for more given the holiday price. Overall this was a lovely holiday, although for the price i wouldnt return as there are hotels in greece (and likely other countries too) that are better value and equally luxurious.

Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber. Wir hatten Preferred Club, sodass der Zimmerservice mehrmals täglich kam um die Minibar neu zu befüllen oder das Bett für die Nacht herzurichten. Außerdem hatten wir eine Lounge zur Verfügung, wo man sich beim kleinen Hunger tagsüber etwas holen konnte. Poollandschaft und Wellnessbereich sind sehr schön und großzügig. Das Buffet war gut, hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können. Manche Bereiche des Hotels sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das stört aber nicht weiter. Generell kann man alle Aktivitäten, Zimmer Service, Spa und vieles mehr über eine App buchen, was sehr praktisch war. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
