The hotel was not prepared for cold weather, the brakfast area was not heated and you definitly had the feeling that the employees where looking to close the session. Even the hotel was not full they offered no flexibilty for the check out time etc. In general a very nice building but the service and the facilities needs to be adjusted

A estadia foi ótima. O hotel tem um diferencial por ter estacionamento na propriedade e fácil acesso aos pontos da ilha naquela localização. O café da manhã foi incrível, muitas opções e inclusive saudáveis, os funcionários receptivos também. Únicos pontos negativos foi que não pediram o pagamento da taxa de hospedagem na chegada, mas pediram cartão caução. Por isso, creditaram a taxa no meu cartão ao invés de oferecer outa forma de pagamento! Na saída, também não preparam nosso café da manhã para levar, apesar de termos pago junto a estadia (saímos às 5h da manhã, e avisamos a equipe) mas nada foi feito. A piscina não é aquecida. Mesmo no verão, fica muito difícil entrar, já que a água é muito gelada. Penso que os hóspedes poderiam aproveitar mais as comodidades e lazeres do hotel, desde que o hotel pudesse contribuir para isso. O hotel é lindo, mas os hóspedes precisam sair para ter lazer de água, já que eles não aquecem a piscina. O jardim é muito bem cuidado e a parte interna também. Eu pedi um espelho de corpo (não tinha no quarto) e uma das camareiras me arrumou um extremamente rápido e já o deixou em meu quarto pelos próximos dias. Adorei essa gentileza.

So here’s the thing, if this place marketed itself as a bed and breakfast, it would be five stars across the board. Despite the gorgeous rooms and setting of the hotel, it falls short of what you’d expect a hotel to offer. The lack of a bar was interesting, or even a stocked mini bar in the rooms, and meant we brought in our own supplies from the local supermarket. The website also dials up the breakfast offering, and despite being lovely, I wouldn’t go as far as saying “freshness of seasonal ingredients blends with traditional and international flavours to start your day in the best way.” It was a pretty basic buffet with scrambled or hard-boiled eggs being the only warm items. I really think investment in a lunch and dinner service would be wise too! The top line is, go if you’d just like a bed for the night and will be exploring the island all day and night, because it’s hard to spend a whole day here!

Leider waren weder das Restaurant noch der Wellness-Bereich geöffnet. Obwohl wir das Hotel aufgrund dessen gebucht hatten. Dafür war der Manager sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent und kundenorientiert.

Very nice rooms and a lovely setting

Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war bewusst abgelegen gewählt, ist aber mit PKW sehr gut erreichbar und ein idealer Standort, um die Insel mit PKW oder ausgedehnten Radtouren zu erkunden. Alles war sauber und ruhig. Wir trafen auf familiären Umgang und sehr freundlicher Unterstützung bei jeder Frage. Das gepflegte Ambiente versprüht die Historie des Gebäudes. Wir kommen wieder!

This is a lovely old country house with mod cons. It is some distance from the town/s so a hire car is necessary. The staff were caring and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent and varied. We had a nice peaceful stay and visited many of our favourite parts of this beautiful island easily because the hotel is very centrally located. Big hugs from Cameron to Lucy!

Unterkunft sehr schön und ruhig zwischen Feldern und Weinreben gelegen. Das Anwesen ist Traumhaft und die Zimmer (Junior Suite) sehr großzügig geschnitten. Abzug gibt es für das übersichtliche Frühstück und den Service, das können andere bei dieser Preisklasse deutlich besser. Leider wird kein Mittagessen angeboten, auch kein Snack, was einen Tag am Pool etwas schwierig gestaltet.

Lovely property, quiet and set back from the road. Staff were lovely, the Finca has lots of history, and the breakfast is amazing.
