By far, best place to stay in Sri Lanka! You have your little bungalow in a picturesque area surrounded by rice paddies, gardens, wild life. The pool is amazing, the food outstanding. The hotel staff is absolutely incredible. A special shout out to Kingsley, Madu and Salini and all staff. They welcome you like a family member.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - but only once we'd upgraded to a room (chalet) with AC. We asked to move from our initial room, which the hotel accommodated for the extra cost of $50 per night. We decided it was worthwhile because our first room had holes in the mosquito net over the door, so we received 10 bites within the first hour of checking into the room! Plus the bathroom is outdoors (no ceiling), which is a great idea, but absolutely covered in bugs. Tricky for westerners who aren't used to mosquitos and their bites! Aside from that, the staff were wonderful - helpful and warm, especially the dining staff. The food was delicious and the portions huge, with great cocktails. Exploring the paddy fields surrounding the hotel is a nice perk too.

General manager to junior staff has been truly amazing during our entire stay. Very clean, comfortable place for nature loving people like us. The lunch and breakfast we enjoyed a lot! We sure will come back!

Beautiful, tranquil hotel with amazing views. Food was excellent and service was exceptional. We will definitely come back again, but for a longer stay.

Overall my stay was great. The view and peacocks were beautiful. The food was also great. Only complaint I have is there was a mouse that entered our room. The hotel provided a mouse trap which did catch the mouse. Keep in mind that this room is outdoors so you may see insects and mosquitoes in your room.

Very ineresting property that is quiet and serene. Staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful but definitely need more training to be employed at a "five star" facility. Also, the facility has NO airconditioning and was extremly hot, humid and uncomfortable.

This hotel is located in a beautiful, nature-rich setting with a magical atmosphere. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made our stay even more special. The curries we had at the restaurant were absolutely delicious and unforgettable. From check-in to check-out, every moment was filled with excitement, making it one of the most memorable hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I’m truly satisfied with choosing this place for our stay.

Amazing service and food. Beautiful setting would have liked to stay longer

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature however we stayed 4 nights and this was a bit too long as not much to do and far from Ella. Room wasn't huge and menu was quite limited for a 4 night stay.

Stayed here in 2020 and loved it. Two night stay was fab. Did the night walk and the morning padi walk. Both fairly low key but interesting. Food is wonderful -beautifully presented and delicious. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Just loved our open air shower bathroom concept. Totally recommend the spa/massage.

The hotel is in a very large property. Amazing staff !! Great food. The views were just spectacular.

Very unique property about 50 minutes from Ella, different and very nice but not luxurious, remote, lovely and quiet and very attentive staff. Lovely local food and lovely peaceful pool, overlooking rice fields and the peacocks are great!

Beautiful, really peaceful place with great staff. Dinesh was beyond helpful and took great care during my whole stay and also the driver Tharidu was very reliable and shared so many interesting stories about Sri Lanka on our trips.

Loved the eco approach of this charming hotel. My only minor criticism is the lack of AC. I’m being pedantic but my goodness it was hot!!!

What a gem. Loved this place and regretted having to leave after only 2 nights . Did not do it or the surroundings justice . Next time !!! Staff were wonderful, food was great. Room was fabulous - loved the outdoor shower . Love the ethos behind this brand
