Fantastic stay, it was perfect for our escape to come and work remotely. Wonderful food, very comfy big bed, co working space is brilliant with comfy chairs, right on the beach, but the staff are the kindest and make it a wonderful place. Massive thanks to Ronald and Akif who went above and beyond! 💗

Room and bathroom were great. The staff were excellent. Pool was OK, lounging area a bit small. Restaurant downstairs is overpriced.

Really disappointing stay here. We booked the standard room which, based off the photos, looks like it has a window in the bathroom looking onto greenery. This isn't the case, instead the window is dirty and covered so there's no natural light or ventilation. The bathroom as a result is damp (which they've clearly painted over), moulding, and the shower tray is taped together. The bedroom felt like a cave it was so dark and depressing. The bed was large and comfortable, but the sheets were stained and had a bad smell to them, and we also noticed chewing gum stuck to the headboard. The rooftop pictures are also misleading and clearly old, as it is in need of renovations up there. Based on this I can only assume the other rooms are a similar standard. As for the co-living, this was simply a cafe and, in our experience, a loud karaoke event (which you can hear throughout the accommodation, even if you'd prefer not to). We stayed for 8 nights and this was the only event we know of (if there were others, there is no information shared about them). The only redeeming points are the staff are friendly and the wifi worked. There are much better co-working places to stay in Weligama at much cheaper prices, so we would avoid here.

Staff was amazing

Great clean room, very spacious, lovely view of the beach. Friendly staff and pretty good amenities. Access to beach was excellent, sand under your feet within meters of the door.

The ocean view rooms were very good and the rooms are comfortable and clean . There was no elevator so the luggage had to be taken by stairs . The staff were friendly and shifted the luggage upstairs . i loved this place becoz of the ocean view . I made the booking through hotels.com and they charged a lot , the pricing of the room was over priced i think i would have paid half or maybe lesser price if i booked on my own or through some other website . Hotel.com is a big NO for future bookings !!!!

This was a clean and well kept property. We enjoyed our view of the mountains especially for sunrise. We especially enjoyed the good AC and extra large bed! The internet worked well for a little bit but then got very slow during a work call and eventually had to use my hotspot. But other than that it was a prefect stay.

En liten skjult perle i Weligama. Servicen var upåklagelig og maten fantastisk. Hele stedet hadde en veldig avslappet atmosfære. Et hyggelig miljø hvor det var lett å komme i kontakt med andre eller være alene om en ønsket det. Rommet var nydelig og det var stille og rolig hele tiden. Vil gjerne komme tilbake.

We loved it. A beautiful spot and a very welcoming and accomodating place. Also, the food is excellent. We would definately come back.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, ease of checkin and check out process.

Nice hotel and great staff. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The wifi is great and there is a desk in the room if you need to work. Otherwise the common area is well adapted to coworking too. The food is okay, a bit pricey though (similar to European prices) and the price is displayed in USD. The surroundings were a bit missing restaurants, you would need to take a tuktuk especially at night time because it’s pretty dark.

Good friendly service, while rooms are reasonably priced, food and drinks are expensive and priced in USD* and not in LKR (*not sure how this is regulated by the central bank).

Beautiful location at the beach, a bit hidden from the crowded Weligama which was really nice. The staff is great and friendly! I didn’t read as much about the co-working, so when travelling alone to relax it was a lot of happenings and arrangements at the place.

Lite modernare boende, nästan lite västerländskt. Mysig personal, nära till stranden (surf/bad), god nyttig mat och väldigt ”relaxed” känsla.

We had a lovely stay at Outpost Weligama. The staff were absolutely amazing. The food was great. The location was perfect (on a less crowded part of the beach). The internet was super fast. And the price was more than reasonable. Their concept of coworking/coliving ensured there were lots of like-minded people in the building at all times. And the Outpost team really went out of their way to make sure everyone felt welcomed and appreciated. Highly recommended!
