Fabulous eco-retreat in the rural wilderness of Sri Lanka. Loved the feel and vibe of this resort. Everyone was super friendly and we came away very relaxed after a two night stay. Unlike anywhere wise we visited on our two week trip. Recommended

What an exceptionally beautiful hotel, set away in a magnificent rainforest. We had a room right on a cascading creek and the sound of the water was pure magic. There were a family of monkeys on the trees directly in front of our balcony, oblivious to us. So much fun to observe them. The service of the staff was exceptional and Dumi, our guide had a deep knowledge of the area and took us on some wonderful local field trips. I cant praise Glenrock enough. Keep in mind that you are in the middle of a rainforest, so expect some creepy crawlies.

It is unique and super in every way. The staff are fantastic. Big thank you to Dominda who went out of his way to help. The trip to the waterfall and swim is a must do. Domindas English is great and as a local explains everything which provides an insight to this incredible place. We will come back and stay longer next time! 🙏

This is a hidden gem a few hours inland from the busy southern coast. Service is amazing as is the landscape. We received a complimentary tour and spa treatment. The design is really interesting and sits well within the trees on the property. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay! The staff were so friendly and very welcoming. The staff go above and beyond to make sure their guest have the best experience possible. Highlights: Amazing food Incredible views Excellent service The waterfall which they offer is a really fun experience It was our honeymoon and my birthday and they make us feel so special and really looked after us. We couldn’t recommend this place enough! Perfect for a 2 night stay.

This is an amazing property hidden from the main city and nature all around. I am so happy i found it on Expedia . Staff was very courteous and took us around for village tour and available whenever you need them. Spa was also amazing and i would love to go back and stay for a week if i get a chance. 5 stars all the way.

Outstanding property. Very quiet admist nature with river flowing nearby. Room was big and clean, jaccuzi was great and the food was delicious. But what stood out was the customer service of the people who work there. In all my travel I have never experienced such a customer service anywhere. Especially Asalanka and Dimender. They were soft spoken, clearly explained everything and was willing to help with anything. The people who work there is what makes the difference and is definitely a highlight of my Srilanka trip. Definitely Recommended 5 stars.

Dieser Ort ist ein Paradies für Körper und Geist in Belihuloya. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und extrem hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich wie im Himmel. Die Natur vor der Tür mit natürlichen Fisch Spas, die gesamte Tierwelt im und rund um das Hotel ist einfach atemberaubend. Empfehlenswert für Naturliebende mit Komfort Wunsch. Wir fanden sehr viel Ruhe und Erholung im Glenrock. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Unser Aufenthalt im Glenrock im Regenwald war einer der besten unseres Lebens. Die Anlage ist im top Zustand und eingebettet in schönster Natur. Umgeben von Reisfeldern, Hügeln, einer Flusslandschaft und dichtem Wald. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und liest dir alle Wünsche ab. Wir konnten mit ihnen spannende Gespräche führen und mehr von der Kultur aus Sri Lanka kennen lernen. Das Frühstück, Mittag oder Abendessen war stets ein Gedicht und perfekt abgestimmt. Wir erlebten sehr abwechslungsreiches Essen direkt aus dem Garten der Anlage oder aus nächster Umgebung. Die Cabana am Fluss war ein absolutes Highlight mit viel natürlichem Licht und warmen Holz. Die Nacht war sehr erholsam und Abends konnte man zuvor auf der Terrasse gemütlich den Geräuschen des Waldes lauschen. Dem Manager Iresh möchten wir gerne unseren Dank aussprechen. Die Gespräche mit ihm waren sehr offen und herzlich. Seine Arbeit macht diesen Ort ganz besonders. Auch Thusare möchten wir sehr danken, er lässt sich unendlich wohl fühlen. Wir sind dankbar dieses Eco Konzept abseits der Touristen Routen gefunden zu haben und werden bestimmt wiederkehren und viele Empfehlungen aussprechen.

Tout était parfait. Accueil, chambre, lieu, restauration conseils... Les gens sont gentils intéressants et intéressés. Il faut urgemment s'y rendre ! :)

Amazing stay. Eco - lodge cabins with driftwood and plate glass themes. Lovingly arranged over wild river in gorgeous mountain country. Very comfortable clean eco-modernist chic.

This is a beautiful hotel. We decided based on reviews to change our itinerary to stay at the Glenrock, bypassing some more popular places. We were very glad we did. The beauty of the environment, the quality of the food and most of all the friendliness of the Glenrock team made this a very memorable part of our Sril Lanka holiday. We couldn't recommend it more.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Glenrock with our two children (11 and 8) this July. The setting is idyllic in amongst paddy fields, a beautiful river, exotic plants and trees and animals (chameleons, monkeys and birds). The modern room was great, really comfortable clean and spacious, had a large bathroom (including Jacuzzi!) and a balcony with lovely view overlooking the river valley. We chose half board and were not disappointed with the food which was generous and delicious - the staff even went out their way to make a birthday cake for us! The staff were wonderful, kind, attentive and knowledgable about the environment, advising walks and trips to go on including walks from the hotel and a short trip to a local swim hole where we swam in the river. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to escape and unwind in beautiful natural surroundings.

There are no words to describe this hotel! The service was amazing and staff were always smiling and eager to help. The food was good, the rooms were gorgeous, upgraded bathrooms were appreciated. This secluded hotel tucked away in nature has the most incredible location. Surrounded by wilderness, over a river, monkeys in the trees, deer in the woods, butterflies everywhere. Utterly blissful! Albeit a bit of a drive to get anywhere but on the other hand why would one want to go elsewhere? There's lots of good trails around the hotel/villages, massage treatments, worth spending a few days to simply drink in the views.

Stunning natural setting surrounded by mountain views with a river running through the property. Beautiful spacious rooms, great food, awesome massages and the friendliest service.
