We had an excellent stay! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. They helped us to arrange safari, food and transport as well. The safari was amazing and our driver was the best! Food was also amazing.

We only stayed one night in the properttas part of our tour of the island. The room was large and clean with ensuite facilities and lovely hot showers. It is located close to the Yala park entrance and is surrounded by jungle. We also took the optional safari and cannot recommend it highly enough. The service was excellent and we saw plenty of wildlife including elephants really close. The recent wet weather meant that they were not out hunting, but we saw virtually every other animal on our list and we were not disappointed.

Our stay at Tree Tops was superb! We cannot fault it. Wonderful architecture, fantastic hospitality from Appu and his family and a great safari tour organised by the guest house. We even got to see a leopard! Our thanks to Navin for all the hard work he put into the communications and making sure our stay was as comfortable and as memorable as it was.

Majatalo oli pieni, siinä näytti olevan vain kaksi huonetta (jotka molemmat olivat isoja). Sijainti oli syrjäinen, mutta hyvä Yalan kansallispuistoa ajatellen. Syrjäisen sijainnin vuoksi oli käytännössä pakko syödä majatalossa. Sieltä sai ruokaa tilaamalla sen etukäteen. Ruoka ei ollut mitenkään ihmeellistä, esim. kana oli kuivaa. Huone oli hyvässä kunnossa. Se oli sisältä vähän pimeä, koska katossa ei ollut lamppua. Huoneessa oli useita pistorasioita, joihin sopi suoraan suomalaisetkin töpselit. Henkilökunta paikan päällä puhui englantia vain auttavasti. Viestittelyä hoiti joku muu ja hänen kanssaan asiat menivät sujuvasti.

We had a lovely evening with another family at Tree Tops Yala. After a safari in the afternoon and a delicious BBQ in the evening, we all enjoyed the serenity and peaceful atmosphere staying at Tree Tops Yala. My only regret is that we didn’t stay an extra night to be able to spend more time relaxing here.
