Ankommen, durchatmen, genießen – ein kleines Paradies mit großem Herz
Schon beim Betreten dieses charmanten Boutique-Hotels fühlt man sich willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Ein kleines Missverständnis beim Frühstück – unsererseits – wurde vom aufmerksamen Team an der Rezeption schnell und unkompliziert gelöst.
Das gesamte Management punktet mit echter Herzlichkeit und Engagement. Am Strand laden gemütliche Liegen zum Entspannen ein, und Kamal sorgt mit seiner offenen, sympathischen Art dafür, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Auch das Team der Beach Bar verbreitet gute Laune und ist jederzeit für einen netten Plausch zu haben.
Unser besonderer Dank geht an Dhanuskha, unseren persönlichen Kellner, der stets mit einem Lächeln dafür gesorgt hat, dass es uns an nichts mangelt.
Am Abend wird es stimmungsvoll – Livemusik oder DJ - ab 18 Uhr sorgt für die passende Atmosphäre. Dabei wird stets auf die richtige Lautstärke geachtet, sodass der Genuss im Vordergrund bleibt.
Das Abendessen im Hotel war lecker, frisch und auf europäischem Preisniveau.
In dieser kleinen, aber feinen Anlage steht das Wohl des Gastes im Mittelpunkt. Die vielen lieben Mitarbeiter – haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Wir haben nicht nur entspannt, sondern auch viel gelacht.

I loved the location which was on the beach and it was a great view to see surfers surfing. Loved the food and the music wasn't too loud.
I can't remember the name of the gentlemen staff but he spoke good English and was Sri Lankan who used to work in the middle east. He really really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Taking the extra trouble to make guests feel welcome. If you had the pleasure to meet him during your stay, he will surely look after you. The room was beautiful and spacious & great value for money.

Great location and hotel design but terrible terrible terrible customer service because the hotel management is sorely lacking any systems to ensure a good stay. There are so many issues here - the staff don’t seem to care, drink and food orders never arrive, despite repeated requests and even the offers of free food from management to address the issues experienced didn’t arrive. Many customers are experiencing the same issues. Definitely not worth the cost, stay elsewhere!

Very nice people and staff, however we found cockroaches in the bathrooms, and some at the bar area. Some problems with the kitchen, not being able to provide a meal. Issues with cleaning.

Rest of the hotel looks „cheap“ and also a lot is damaged.

Läget på hotellet var bra. Rummen var ok men inte rena. Hög musik som störde på kvällar och nätter. Dålig service i baren och restaurangen. Finns mycket trevligare ställen att bo på i Weligama för pengarna.

The cheapest room is really noisy, as it is right next to the road. The road is really busy, even through the night, and I don't think anyone could sleep through that noise level without earplugs. The hotel did not have any earplugs, so bring your own, if you are staying in a room next to the road. After spending one sleepless night in this room, the hotel offered to move us to another hotel, or move to a more expensive room with additional costs. We decided to stay, but don't know if I would ever return to this hotel.
Also, the hotel's surf board renter said that I broke the hotel's board, which I told him was untrue. He said that if I don't pay him, then he would have to pay the repair from his own salary. Which makes me question what type of hotel owners are so horrible to their employees.
All in all, the hotel is somewhat fancy, but has horrible service. I don't think that it is the hotel staff's fault that they have to follow the owner's rules. I would not stay again. For this price I have never, ever stayed in such a horrible hotel. I am appalled.

Rigtig godt ophold! Vi bookede i sidste minut og havde meget sen indtjek og meget tidlig udtjek, men det ordnede det venlige personale med bedste service. Vi havde et dejligt værelse og fik rigtig fin mad på stranden om aftenen. Klar anbefaling herfra.

So, we were looking for a nice hotel close to the beach and more importantly the surf! I do not think we could have chosen a better hotel!!
The location was amazing, just on the beach. After walking 50 meters you found 10 different surf schools offering various board rentals and lessons.
The service at the hotel was great, you did get really get a feeling of being at a luxury hotel. Thanks a lot all staff of W15!
Lastly I think the food was great as well!

Living on a beach front doesn't have to be in your dreams anymore. This relaxing dream of mine came to life at W15 luxury beach boutique. You get the best of both worlds here... pool and beach. If you're anything like my husband, he prefers the pool and I just love the ocean! We were all able to enjoy ourselves in the same vicinity. With the bar/restaurant being located outside you'll be catered to at all times. On the beach you'll be able to rent boogie boards or a surf board. Lessons are also available directly on the beach. Looking forward for relaxation? Try yoga on the beach or just simply enjoy sun bathing on a beach cabana.
The guest rooms are spacious and very modern.
If you're ever looking to leave the hotel to go on a tour or find other food and sight seeings, W15 will make arrangements for you. A line of tuk tuks wait outside to take you where you need to go.
W15 welcomes all ages. W15 is very family oriented. One of our favorite entertainment options they offer is playing board games like giant jenga and tic tack toe with each other.

We had a great stay at W15, as a family including young adults it was a very easy and omfortable place to stay, a surf break out the front to fill in time and just a short ride to other great breaks. The staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to accomodate any requests we made. The bar staff were also very welcoming and attentive.
