자동차 렌트 여행이라 무료주차가 가능한 변두리로 잡았는데 너무 좋았어요. 강가주변이라 풍경도 좋네요. 단 자동차가 있어야 접근하기 좋아요.

환상적인뷰~ 시내에서 15분거리지만 무료 버스티켓을 줍니다. 호수와 연결되는 수영장이 특히좋았어요~

The view was excellent!! Clean and cosy room + kind staff. But dinner of the restaurant was so expensive. Others are fine.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, and the view is beautiful. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with a big smile and felt truly comfortable. The staff were kind, caring, and always happy to help. Getting to the city center was super easy, and with a pass from the hotel, we could use public transportation for free. We were very happy with our stay — thank you so much for everything!

The view is paradisiacal. It’s easy to get there from Zurich, with just one bus. The hotel is somewhat old, but very charming.

Mycket vänlig och proffesionell service under tidspress. Speciellt tack till Tainja S i receptionen … hon som skrattar mest. Mycket fint rum med fantastisk utsikt. Bra arrangerad badstrand och fint SPA. Enkel att ta buss till Luzern.

Hotel was gorgeous and right on a lake with mountains all around. Food was spectacular and eating next to the picturesque view made it even better. With all that being said, the front desk kind of stole the show. They were all super friendly, helpful and went out of their way to assist anyway possible.

Restaurant staff were really friendly. Drinks on the patio with that view was special. Food was just ok.

This hotel is superb. The staff and facilities are wonderful, and the views from the hotel across the lake are truly awesome.

Fabulous hotel with views of Vierwaldsaresee. The staff are amazing!! Rooms clean and well equipped. Food is excellent. Hot tub overlooking the lake is lovely. Bus to Luzern from outside hotel takes 20 mins

We stayed at the Seehotel Kastanienbaum between 28/12 2024 - 1/1 2025. Upon arrival the greeting was very friendly (and in perfect English). We were given details of the hotel, breakfast times, amenities such as Hot Tub and Sauna Boat for hire etc. We were also given a FREE bus pass for the duration of our stay. The bus service to and from Lucerne was regular and only 20 mins, the bus stop is literally 30 seconds from leaving the reception of the hotel. We used the bus every day. The room was spacious, a big bed, it was very warm and the bathroom had a great super-powerful shower. On the first night we had a cheese fondue in the private huts they have at the back of the hotel. It was great fun eating out zero degrees. We were kept warm by heated seat cushions and plenty of blankets. The only negative was it was foggy and the lake view we booked wasn’t there, obviously not the hotel’s fault. A nice touch was a Happy New Year card in our room on the 31st Dec and some biscuits and Konfi when we checked out.

Andre at the front desk was amazing!!! He went above and beyond to help me with a problem I encountered with a package I had sent previously from Italy to the USA. I do appreciate the time he spent to fix it all up!!

Zu unserem Jahrestag haben wir uns ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel gegönnt. Toll war der Zugang zum See mit Bademöglichkeit. Die Sauna war mittelmässig.

Excellent and friendly staff made us welcome and offered a change to a lakeside view. The lighting in the bedroom was dim except at the desk - we would liked to have had more conventional lighting. The double bed was comfortable but we also struggled to accommodate two large duvets on the bed, ending up laying on one end to anchor it.
