This was my first experience in Hostel living. Check in or out was the issue and don’t know how to reach to someone for check in buzz was not working, with luggage and no sim was the challenge, for one night. But was convenient location . House keeper was trying hard to keep the facility clean. For bedsheet charges first time I learned. Ok for one night or 2 . Not more in my opinion. Locker was there for small bag not for big but in room was no issue luckily. Trusting is good but not trusting is better, put in airport lockers if you have trust issues in mind. Overall was good

Was in Zurich for a 3 day birthday festival so this was only in order to have a place to sleep in between the parties. You may not know the city has a red light district, but this property is situated right in the middle of it. There are junkies, gangstas, dealers, prostitutes sitting on the stairs 24/7. But they will politely let you go in/out no problem. Inside you only get a roof and a bed in a room shared with 5 others. Would not leave valuables in the room but am comfortable leaving general belongings. Staying here may not be for everyone, but I picked the cheapest option available (out of habit because I maybe should have grown up by now...), and so my expectation was nothing, and it was met just fine. Your room mates are leaving you alone, as does the general clientele of the neighbourhood. I had everything I needed (well, perhaps except for a window/terrace to smoke a spliff, but that's just me). If/when on a tight budget, I would not mind staying here again.

This isn't really a hostel, not by most people's standards. You're renting a bed in a room shared with mostly long term residents. there is no front desk, you have to communicate via WhatsApp with the "boss". there's also a surprise 5 franc bed sheet fee if you don't bring your own, which isn't disclosed anywhere on the listing.

I know and understand it was/is a hostel but from what was in the property description, our low expectations were not met. If it was longer then the one night I would have cancelled. The outside of the property was gross, as well as the staircase to get to the property, the bathroom was half ripped out. The photos do not at all represent what is inside. Additionally, it was so loud outside it woke me up multiple times throughout the night, that would have been nice to know. It also would have been nice to know that there is no reception/ front desk since it was mentioned in the check in details and also you have to rent sheets if you don’t bring your own. I would not recommend it or stay again.

Bare minimum. 10 euro charge for blanket

You mentioning check in can be till 22:30 but nobody was there, you have to do it through whatapp and with your own wifi. WiFi was not working at the property. It was not clean and overused

Im a traveller and Was my first time in a hostel. Linens were very cleaned and you cook in the hostel

I have stayed in hostels all over the world so I am making this comparison based off experience. The PROS: The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms themselves were very clean. The area is very close to the train station and close to bars and restaurants that are open late. The CONS: The location is very bad. It is loud at all hours so you have to expect that if you want to have the window open (otherwise it gets very hot). Very limited number of bathrooms and not clean. There were MANY people staying here and there were not enough bathrooms to accommodate how many people were staying here. The bars in the area and the area of town seem to encourage people to get drunk and there was very nearly a fight while we were trying to have dinner.

Ma fille et moi avons eu vraiment peur. On a du partager la chambre avec d’autres femmes et on ne pouvait pas barrer la porte. Il faisait très chaud et il y avait des sans-abris qui hurlaient toute la nuit et on a pas pu dormir du tout. La salle de bain et la cuisine étaient mal-propres.

Está ubicado en una zona roja, prostitutas y drigadictos en la misma calle y y alrededores. Y dentro ambiente de desconfianza porque algunos empleados y/o huéspedes se la pasan merodeando los cuartos, los cuales no tienen llave. Los baños din jabón. No recomendable para mujeres, ni hombres jóvenes.

The manager, Oscar, was very kind and compassionate and the interactions with other travelers was convivial and enjoyable. It's location in the slum was a drawback, but nothing dangerous happened.

This place is dirty with triple high bunks, 3-4 bunks per room. Also saw couples bunks. Check-in"desk" was an in use kitchen. Located in un safe prostitute zone. I originallybooked a single room. They bait and switched me into a triple bunk room. I declined and left. Of course they had a no refund policy, I think a scam. Hotels.com wasnt much help getting my money back afterwards. I think the property needs to clarify its listing or be removed. I had to submit a reversal of paymentthroughmy ctedit card, thank that got my money back. Careful here, you've been warned.

Consejo de desconocido, no intenten reservar aquí. 1°: En la puerta duermen homeless 2°: A 100 metros 2 hombres me pidieron mi celular(estaban robando) y cuando lo dije en el hostel el de la recepción me dijo que estaba diciendo mentiras 3° Tiene 1 solo baño. 4°: hay prostíbulos y en los lugares para comer entran a pedir dinero o vender droga. No pierdan el tiempo, solo cuesta unos pocos dolares menos que otro lugar, no vayan!
