촘잔 리조트

We arrived at this place with high expectations and were not disappointed. Our little cabin was excellent! Clean, comfortable and with a sea view. The staff were extremely nice, polite and went out of their way to help us-absolutely top notch service (as you'd expect from the Thais). The only things I'd improve would be to add a hot shower (currently only cold water) to the bathroom and to improve the locking mechanism on the doors to the cabin (currently locked by a thin, rusty chain and a rusty padlock). The cabin is also easily accessed by climbing over the wall of the bathroom and then opening the bathroom door into the cabin which could theoretically lead to an opportunitistic theft of some sort. This should be improved and covered up to avoid this being a possibility (although, Koh Phayam felt totally safe everywhere there). The restaurant/reception area at the top had a beautiful view out to the sea and to Myanmar in the far distance. In the end, these negatives are only very, very minor niggles and are something to improve upon, that ' s all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to go back if we had the chance. Highly recommended!
