Good

Loved this place, stayed at several different properties/areas during my three weeks on the island and this was my favourite. Great chilled atmosphere, amazing views, good snorkelling and there is a great restaurant on-site. Definitely recommended!

Great location if you want peace and quiet. They have plenty of free activities. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for five nights in a deluxe room with king bed and sea views. The room was clean, with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. There were a couple of issues with the toilet upon our check-in, but these were fixed promptly, which was greatly appreciated. The service was mostly excellent and the food was really good with our compliments to the chef for excellent western & Thai dishes. We always ate the western breakfast (yum) and I usually ate Thai for dinner (as when in Thailand…), while my Thai girlfriend often opted for western dishes (the pasta was really good). My girlfriend also likes Som Tam (Papaya Salad) and it was so authentic (so spicy) that even she struggled to eat it (we both had a good laugh at that). The location is quite a bit out of the way, but I had booked two days of scuba diving from the nearby pier, so it was perfect for that. The pier is also worth checking out for other lunch options or booking sightseeing trips on land, but it is a 20-minute walk each way. Whilst I agree with the philosophy of only getting bottled water on the first day and then using the refill station at reception for water, it would be great if housekeeping didn’t throw out all our empty bottles while we were out for the day (but it only happened once towards the end of our stay). Otherwise thoroughly recommended.

Great place but a bit off if you don’t have a motorbike. Nice with all the cats and dogs and to study the monkeys. Great drinks and a really nice bar to spend your time in. Loved it all except the bed that was way to hard.

Dejlig beliggenhed - helt roligt område. Fantastisk udsigt over vandet. Vi oplevede fin service og maden der serveres er helt ok til prisen. Hotellet er ikke luksus - men det bliver man heller ikke lovet. Trods det havde vi et dejligt ophold.

I like All of this place

Well, i travelled here on my first trip back to Thailand after covid. Stayed for 2 magnificent weeks, the people working here are helpful with anything you need. Everyday when i come in the morning they will be here cleaning and getting ready to open the resturant for food and coffee. And they keep smiling until they close for the day, all while giving you a great time. They have divinginstructors so you can stay in the resort and get PADI certified. If you want to go snorkeling you can loan gear from the restaurant, or sign up on a boat trip, they even have 3 boats that go out daily for diving and snorkeling. If you doubt that i enjoy this place, let me tell you a little story. I got here, they showed me to a little bungalow in the edge of a jungle. Every morning there were sounds of thunder on the roof around 6am. If you keep your curtains open you will see the family of monkeys having breakfast outside. I took my PADI open water with these guys and had a few extra trips to enjoy it. Then came the time to leave, i headed for Bangkok and managed to stay there for less then 48 hours. I actually headed back to Koh Chang and Cliff Cottage for another 2 weeks. Nearby you have this amazing fishing village that has been wonderous to explore. Not one will bother you and try to sell you stuff, they just smile, say hi and let you go on your way. I reccomend stopping and talking to the locals, they are really nice people around here.

Excellent view of the ocean, clean bungalows with hot showers, kayaking and snorkeling available, and their restaurant has great food.

Man kann gut in diesem Hotel entspannen. Personal kann jedoch nur sehr schlecht englisch. Kommt nur von dem Hotel weg wenn man sich einen Roller ausleiht. Liegt abgelegen.

Location was isolated, which made the hotel difficult to reach and to leave.

Good views and value, but it rained into our tent and the shared washroom facilities are rather poor.
