Very nice people, and good location. Very basic room. Approx 2000 bath per night way to much. Restaurant ok, and cheap bar prices though

when we checked in we were met by a guy named Turah. He was fantastic at helping us during the entire stay. With recommendations of where to snorkel, eat, and how to get around. He knew my name from the first day and always greeting us with a smile. We are thankful he was there.

Great! I would love to go back. Nice staff. Clean.

Pas grand chose à dire à part que tout était parfait, la piscine à débordement avec vu sur la plage juste incroyable, les chambres très typiques et en même temps simple et confortable. Le personnel d’une extrême gentillesse. Il n’y a eu que du positif, si je devais retourner à Koh tao je reprendrais cet hôtel sans hésiter.

Fisherman had awesome decor and facilities, in the center of one of our favorite beaches on Koh Tao. We loved plopping down on the sandbar and enjoying it for the whole afternoon. Total bliss. Fisherman Pros: pretty hotel, stellar pool and garden, great location, and direct PERFECT beach access. Cons: shower could be much hotter, no mosquito nets (what?!) and gaps in the bathroom screens and living room wooden slats that allowed in a lot of bugs. There was a GIANT centipede in our bed and overnight the bathroom and shower room filled with mosquitos -- to the point that we couldn't even use the bathroom unless one person stood at the door with a towel to kill mosquitos so that the other person could pee. Seriously. it was super off-putting for the price (~60/night) and the fact that most everywhere in thailand has nets to prevent this problem.

But if anyone in your group isn’t doing diving, stay in Sairee beach area instead.

Malgré des avis divergents lus auparavant, aucun regret pour cet hôtel. Accueil sympa, chambre propre et faite tous les jours, clim qui fonctionne bien et service en général très satisfaisant. Emplacement parfait dans cette baie calme et bien située.

Best bang for your buck! Beautiful resort on the beach, right next to seven eleven and many other restaurants. Close to the pier and many diving schools. The mattress was comfortable. Hot water didn't really work but the rest of the stay was awesome. Service and staff were friendly and helpful!

It was a terrible experience. The people in reception treated us very aggressively. I would pay not to repeat this experience ever again.

Oppholdet var greit. Veldig lytt, da det ikke var vinduer, men lemmer. Lett å bli forstyrret av "bråkete" naboer. Ikke veldig hyggelig betjening . Vi var der i 2 netter og det var ok. Veldig langgrunt der, så vi gikk til freedom beach som ikke lå langt unna. Der var det flott

Perfect location if you rent a bike( however be carefull , when you rent bike , that they will not charge you for scrates you do not make ) and go on your own. Perfect service on the hotel.

Great stay at this resort. A bit of a rude staff.

A modern room which was good considering the price. Good value and better standard than other similarly priced rooms on the island. That said, I don't know if all the rooms in the resort are as modern. Comfortable bed, very clean on arrival and located right on the waterfront. The beach however is very narrow and for much of the day when the tide is in there was no room on the beach, even walking the length of it was difficult due to the trees on the shore, that said, it's a nice but steep walk to Freedom Beach which was well worth the journey. Shower was very nice although the water was often cold depending on the time of day. Wifi was good compared to other places on the island.

Bei Expedia haben wir (Paar Ende 20) von einem Shuttle-Service gelesen, den wir über Facebook beim Hotel angefordert haben. Wir wurden mit Namensschild am Pier empfangen und direkt zum Hotel gefahren(etwa 1,5 km). Am Hotel angekommen, wurde wir freundlich empfangen, der Zimmerschlüssel überreicht und wir konnten in unser Zimmer, das wie beschrieben ausgestattet war. Das Team ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und konnte uns bei allen Angelegenheiten wirklich gut weiterhelfen. Der hauseigene Strand ist jetzt nicht unbedingt der schönste (vermutlich wegen wenig Wellengang und geringer Tiefe) von Koh Tao, aber mit einem Roller lässt sich jeder Strand schnell erreichen. Wer Bock auf Schnorcheln+traumhafte Strände hat sollte sich unbedingt einen Roller mieten. Die Insel ist insgesamt nicht wirklich groß. Die Wege sind aber teilweise abenteuerlich :) und sehr steil. Am Abreisetag wurden wir auf Nachfrage ebenfalls vom Shuttel-Service zurück ans Pier gefahren. Kurzum es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Die teilweise in den Bewertungen beschriebene Unfreundlichkeit des Hotelsteams u.ä. können wir keinesfalls bestätigen.
