Affordable and nice small hotel basically directly on the beach, several restaurants in just a couple of minutes walking distance. Pleasant and helpful staff.

My ratings for this property are based on my expectations. This is a 2 star hotel so be aware that you are paying for the location which is literally on the beach. Do not expect 4/5 star quality for a 2 star price. I have been all over Thailand for many years and this met my expectations. It wasn’t perfect but that was easily made up for and/or surpassed by the location and the wonderful staff. Staff were absolutely fantastic and I can’t praise them highly enough. Very kind and attentive. They even agreed that I could do a bank transfer to them and they would give my the cash after I lost my wallet with all my cash and cards. I’m so grateful to them. Rooms were cleaned daily and bottles of water supplied. I would definitely return again and would recommend to anyone on a lower budget who doesn’t need absolute perfection.

Loved being right on the beach and such a quiet area. Convenient to walk to all desired. Staff is EXTRAORDINARY. A blessing. My room was ok but located too close to service areas. Yes, I would prob go again but diff.room

Hotel needs renovations.. I had a room with really bad sewage issue and smell was awful. Water pressure was really low and water quality wasn’t good ( yellow water).

PROs - the staff is nice, the owners daughter was nice and tried to accomodate everything in her power, the beach just in front the hotel is just perfect. amazing waves. The location cannot be better! CONs - the sheets had holes and stains, there was no mattress protector, meaning you simply sleep on the sweat and dust of the thousands of people before you as the mattess itself was very old too, the warm blanket was old and disgusting with only a thin sheet layer around it not even fully covering it, the A/C was barely working enough to cool the room, the fridge was dirty, the bathroom was dirty (don't let the marble pics fool you) . The rooms are very poorly isolated. They did not change the bathroom feet towel over the whole length of the stay. There was sand everywhere and the last two nights the bed was infested with ants which bit me a lot in the night.

I stayed at IOTB recently after doing the sandbox at the s***hole Patong and it was such a great week and a bit. I have been to IOTB some 14 years ago and loved it then as well. Some of the rooms are better than others so best check the room before you move in. 405 was excellent with great hot water, a/c and fan with great view to the pool and beach. This side of the building does get early sun until about midday but the afternoons are in shade which I preferred. Breakfast is included but if you're a big eater I would suggest you go out. The owner (Buoy)is lovely and will go out of her way to make you stay fabulous.

Отель расположен очень удачно, на первой линии, до пляжа 30 метроов, номера дрстаточно просторные, уборка каждый день, завтрак порционный, стандартный для Пхукета. Рядом с десяток ресторанов. До ночного рынка минут 10 пешком, рядом с ним лаборатория, где можно сдать ПЦР-тест перед отлётом. SWAB-центр в 5 минутах хотьбы. До Каты 5-10 минут на тук-туке. Не будете разочарованы!

Heavy Scandinavian and Euro guests staying so coffee at breakfast was good as was the breakfast overall. The hotel booked us a scooter that was delivered to us. We rode up to Big Buddha and across to Patong Beach area. Recommend for experienced motorcyclists only as riding here is challenging. Hotel located right on the beach and within walking distance to downtown Karon.

Ett hotell som det fanns lite mer att önska av, väldigt enkla rum som inte va av bästa kvalitet. I vårat rum var golvet trasigt och väggarna flagnade.

In by the Beach is a quaint hotel right on a lovely less crowded end of Karon beach. It is very safe, clean and hosts a fruit punch, sweets and fruit happy hour each day at 4:00 poolside. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of fresh items to choose from. Sunsets are Amazing from the beach or your balcony. Many European families spend 2 weeks here to enjoy the sunshine. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday and 1 hour taxi ride from the airport. There is a weekend market 1 minute walk away as well as 2 beachfront restaurants. Party Bars, restaurants and shops in Karon are 5 minutes walk away. The Sea is clear and cool, the sand is white and so fine on your feet. The hotel rents beach chairs and umbrellas. Some rooms have a lake view as well. The bed was comfortable, a small refrigerator and hot pot for morning coffee are nice touches. Listening to the waves crashing from my balcony now and I'm living the dream!

Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen . Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, um 16:00 Uhr gratis Kuchen und Früchte. Täglicher Zimmerservice mit frischen Handtücher, alles sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist wohl etwas älter, jedoch funktioniert alles bestens. Wir würden wieder kommen. Die Gastgeber machen einen wirklich tollen Job.
