Kiang Haad Beach Hua Hin

not valuable for the money

Its location was excellent. Beach, shopping mall, restaurants, food court are within short walking distance. But hotel itself is not good. The facility is worn down, rooms are small. Hotel front lady was rude. Never seen smiling. Most hotel staff members are not there to help guests but just be there without smiling. Very awkward experience.

It was ok. Just Hua hin was disappointing.. Jelly fish... Can't enjoy the sea... Nice staffs, very good breakfast, close to beach. There were ants in the room and the swimming pool wasn't so good. Too shallow..

호텔 자체는 괜찮은데 방 세개중 두개에 개미가 잔뜩 나와서 프론트에 전화를 해야 했음. 수영장은 얕고 실망. 수영장 주변 하수구가 없어서 좀 찝찝함. 수영후 침을 밖에 뱉으면 그 물이 도로 들어옴. 근데 후아린 자체가 ㅠ 바다가 괜찮은데 해파리가 출몰하는듯함 ㅠ 해변서 죽은 시체를 봄 ㅠ 바다에 잠깐 노는데 발에 큰 해파리가 치여서 깜짝 놀라. 죽은곤지 산건진 모르겠지만 다행히 쏘이진 않음. 현지인한테도 물어보니 바다에 좀 있다고함 ㅠ 불안해서 바다서 잘 못놈 ㅠ 하아 ... 아침은 매우 만족.

Think it's little bit overrated... Maybe 7.5 is right point. The staffs are nice but there were so many ants in the rooms... We needed to call to front in the middle of night becuz there were so many ants crawling over our beds... I know there are many ants in Thailand but this price hotel should able to handle to not them to come to room and bed. Breakfast was good but swiming pool wasn't good. The picture looks better. 2nd floor pool, the water was too cold even thou during day time and too shallow to enjoy it and the 4th floor one was too small and shallow also. And there were not many drains around the pool so the water flooded & spilt one kept coming becoming back to pool. Overall i was a bit disappointed.. And they don't have private beach. It's 5min walk to the beach and there were jellyfishes in the sea and i saw the dead one on the beach so i didn't want to go inside... Even i asked to local on the beach and they said there are... It wasn't rainy day or something. It was dry season in december... Think they are there all year around.. :-(

The Kiang Haad turned out to be a great choice for staying in Hua Hin. The property is very nice, the staff is friendly and very prepared, the area provides a lot of options for shopping and dining, and the beach is a brief walk down an quiet side street. The staff is wonderful at this property. There are always two associates at the front desk which is extremely convenient, and the rest of the staff were great.The manager was present during the day and available to help. The property is neat, clean and well maintained throughout. There is a restaurant with a morning buffet, two pools, a rooftop bar/restaurant for lunch and plenty of parking. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. They provide a coffee maker, coffee makings, a fridge, a beach bag with two large beach towels and a pair of flip flops. You can pick up a beach mat in the garage on your way there. The area has plenty of shopping and dining options. There is a mall across the street and another one 15 minutes away on foot. The only caveat for the Kiang Haad is that it’s on the main road which can be noisy. Otherwise, I completely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Ligger bra till, nära shopping och nära stranden. Personalen är supertrevliga.

This is a basic 3* hotel that can provide a good value proposition when the room rate is right. I stayed in one of the refreshed rooms where a proper shower enclosure is now in place and where the previous dark wood stain fixtures have been covered with a white surface. It makes the room brighter. Lighting is decent. AC works well, although it seemed to shut off on its on on some days. The biggest improvement is in the WiFi. There is now a decent signal and no requirement to keep signing in everytime the wifi is accessed. The hotel is ok for a short stay if one is out most of the day. The hotel met expectations.

Room was facing the road - VERY noisy!no double glazing. Asked to move rooms but extra charge. Also light came through around curtains. Bitten by mosquitoes - they seemed to be in the room somewhere how ever careful I was with spray etc

Nice hotel, close to beach and Market Village Shopping Mall. Market Village Street Food market has a great variety of food with great prices to match.

Superfornøyd med oppholdet her. Maten var fantastisk og meget god service. Eneste var at det var litt harde senger.

Supert hotel. Nær strand, sentrum og shopping center. Standard, heilt ok. Kunne hatt puter i stolene på terassen og mykere senger så hadde vi gitt hotellet topp score. Men vi kommer tilbake for 3 gang og anbefaler dette hotellet til andre😄

Very close to the beach and many dining options. Wifi connectivity was spotty and unreliable. One pool was closed and there was very little sitting room around the one available pool.
