Lanta Castaway Beach Resort

Relaxing, beautifully landscaped beachfront resort about 10 minutes drive away from Saladan pier. Excellent staff and sunset view from the bar area that overlooks the beach. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful resort on the beach. It is well laid out with the bar and restaurant at the seafront and the bungalows in 2 lines facing each other leading up towards the street. The food is excellent and we enjoyed thai and western food. It is all reasonably priced as are the drinks. The bungalows are clean with a maid service everyday. The air con was quite old so we were concerned that it wouldn't be effective but when using in conjunction with the ceiling fan it was cool enough. The bungalows have lovely balconies but you had to make sure you shut your curtains if anyone was on the one opposite. We didn't see any entertainment at the resort but if you walked along the beach there were bars with fire shows. All in all, a great resort which is good value for money.

Svårt att hitta något att klaga på. Allt var bra. Fina rum, trevlig restaurang, tillmötesgående personal och bra städning.

This is a lovely beachfront property. Bungalows are spacious and very clean. Nice patio out front of place where you can dry your bathing suits or just sit and read. The birds chirp and leaves fall from the lovely trees all around. It’s serenity. The staff are helpful. The breakfast is ala carte. Order what you want from menu. It’s all delicious. You get one coffee with the breakfast and can buy additional. Nice amenities like massages on site and you can book scooters with hotel and they bring them to you. Very convenient. The beach and sand are lovely and the water is warm! Happy hour from 5-7pm too at their beach bar.

I said goodbye to my friends and traveled alone to Koh Lanta. I’m so happy I chose this place to stay. The room was so cute and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff was so friendly. So fun being just steps from the beach.

Lovely bungalow-style rooms on picturesque setting. Restaurants and 7/11 an easy walk, although wonderful a la carte breakfast was included in room price: great variety and large, tasty portions. Resort is right on the beach worry many activities, no need to leave the resort if you don't want to.

Trevligt familjeresort, rent o väl underhållet. Bra strand, mysig bar o bra restaurang.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au Castaway Koh Lanta pour son emplacement à quelques pas de la superbe plage. Le personnel était au petit soin, et tellement sympa, rien à redire. Notre unité était propre, pourvue de toutes les commodités et accueillante. Nous avons fait faire la lessive de la semaine pour 90 baths. Le restaurant et le bar ont un menu varié et succulent. Nous avons profité du service de massage sur place, et avons également adoré! Séjour parfait, sans fausse note!

Hôtel au top petits bungalows à deux pas de la plage et restaurant vue mer le personnel est très gentil rien à dire c’était parfait. Il y a des restaurants et commerces dans la grande rue juste à côté

So, The name ‘Resort’ is a little bit ambitious, but we stayed for just under a week and enjoyed every minute of it. As others have said, it’s located at the quiet end of Long Beach. The garden is really well tended and the overall feel is quiet and calm. Nearby there are choices for eating out, or perfectly good eating in. Rooms are cleaned daily and breakfast was freshly prepared. Beers are cold, all the staff did a great job whether breakfast, bar, dining, reception, garden, room attendance. Thanks. We had no issue at all with availability of beds, and having showers on the beach after a swim is great to freshen up. The massage service is a delight and clothes washing also 24 hr turn around - very handy. Is it the Four Seasons? Of course not. Is it a small establishment that makes you feel comfortable, right on the beach and nearby to a collection of shops and things, absolutely. Would I stay again - without question.

Perfect stay. Great and comfy sea breeze villa, 2 min walk to a massive beach that was quiet and peaceful and great for sunsets. Staff were all fab. Food and drinks at restaurant were good. 7/11 at the entrance for any other bits you need eg water/beers for the room etc. 5-10 min walk to loads of restaurants/bars etc. Would definitely stay there again.

Lacked a pool and breakfast was limited to $200 boht. Clean, quiet and felt safe as a solo traveller.
