Moonhut Bungalows

Beautiful location on the beach. Very nice bungalows. Restaurant on site. The staff were great. Jane the manager was very nice. My wife and I had a great time. Highly recommend!!!

Bait and switch. Booked an aircon room and was given a fan unless I paid more upon arrival.

Excellent stay. The beach is fantastic, we could swim even during low tide. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was really comfy. Staff were friendly. We never at the the restaurant but from what we saw the food looked good. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Bungalow tres vétuste, on a reserve pour 3 personnes avec 1 lit double et 1 lit simple et on nous a demande de payer un supplement pour avoir un lit d’appoint a la place du lit simple. Je ne recommande pas. Dommage car l’emplacement est tres beau.

We liked to location of the beachfront bungalow; really great. The beach was nice and clean and not too crowded. Staff could be more friendly, especially the restaurant staff. Good food.

Geweldige plek aan het strand. Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. De bungalow is erg krap voor 3 personen. Er was 1 bed bijgezet maar daardoor amper loopruimte. De doucheruimte is erg toe aan een opknapbeurt. Je betaalt hier het bedrag omdat je aan direct aan het strand zit. Het plekje is erg mooi!

Die Hütten sind einfach und etwas heruntergekommen, der Strand ist jedoch ruhig und sehr schön! Die Anlage ist direkt am Strand mitten unter Palmen. Dementsprechend sind auch einige Insekten / Tiere dort anzutreffen. Das Essen ist sehr gut! Die Freundlichkeit des Personals könnte besser sein. Für den Preis okay (weil schöner Strand), wenn man mit weniger Hygiene leben kann.

Schöne Anlage, in der sich auch einige Familien mit Kindern wohl gefühlt haben. Nettes Personal, mit dem man sich zur Not auch mit Händen und Füssen verständlichen machen konnte :-). Zugehöriges Restaurant war auch sehr gut - wenn auch wenig besucht.

Locatie is leuk, midden op het strand je eigen bungalow. Van het personeel kan geen glimlach af. Je komt hier niet om een gezellige tijd te hebben. Voor overnachten op mooie locatie is het prima. Loop 50 meter naar rechts op het strand en daar vind je een gezellige beachbar.

Really cool place on a beautiful beach, great for swimming. Nice simple bungalows. If u get the cheap ones your room won’t get WiFi. But the beach and lobby area have a good connection. Nice friendly service. Great restaurant. Little pricey but you are on the beach so it’s expected. Very quiet and mellow. 5 minutes walk to 7-11. Would definitely stay again!

Few day at moonhut, near the beach, Sea not in the best condition, You must pay for the air that inspire..... They charge some bat for print my ferryboat ticket yet.... Not reccomended

We chose Moonhut because of the beachfront location and from previous trips to SE Asia we have found fan cooling to be sufficient (a/c too cold). The location was great, quiet and catered for all travellers. The bungalows are big enough with a nice verandah to chill. Our experience was generally good though not without issues. The WiFi was frustrating, sometimes it was good and at other times non-existant. The bed linen was not changed for 7 days until I complained, after that it was fine. The hand basin wasn't cleaned for a number of days and drained slowly. Each bungalow is issued 2 small cakes of soap on arrival so if you are staying 1 day or 3 weeks, as we did, 2 soaps is all you get (cheap). One thing to watch is that because the restaurant staff don't always check keys someone booked their meal and drinks to our room, the bill was cancelled though I felt that the staff didn't entirely believe me. Would we stay here again? Yes (BYO soap)

Ontvangst was matig. We kregen o.a . geen enkele hulp bij het sjouwen van de tassen door het mulle zand. Ze staan gewoon te kijken. Huisje aan het strand is uniek. Simpel, goed voor een paar stranddagen. Badkamer heeft smerige voegen ! Water in de zee is daar niet fris er drijft bruine troep in. Het belangrijkste wat ons hier tegen stond was het personeel. Alles gast moeizaam, van een standhandoek, die je niet krijgt, tot het huren van een brommer die wij maar elders gehuurd hebben. Restaurant is overpriced. Aan het eind nog een flink probleem met een door hen geboekte taxi die niet gekomen is. Personeel komt zelf pas om 8 uur in de ochtend aan. We moesten dus zelf oplossen. Nee, hier komen wij niet meer.

Jag kallar detta underbara ställe för paradiset. Med totalt avsaknad av lyx så är det det lyxigaste ställe jag varit på. Bara sol, mat och avkoppling i helt barfotamiljö.

Har varit så nära paradiset man kan komma. Stället har 2 stjärnor men jag säger så här "Totalt avsaknad av lyx och är det lyxigaste jag varit på ändå". Läget, personalen, service och städning är prickfritt. Att man lever kontantfritt på stället varje dag är guld värt, notan betalas varje dag i efterskott. Fritt Wi-Fi som är det bästa jag haft på semester någonsin. Hit kommer jag tillbaka!

Super geweldige locatie, maar dan is ook alles wel gezegd. Bedden zijn hard, onderhoud is nog harder nodig, schoonmaaksters tja laten we het daar maar niet over hebben. Het ergste vinden wij van alles het personeel in het bijbehorende restaurant. Praten amper engels, kijken je boos aan als je iets besteld wat niet volgens de kaart gaat en worden nog bozer als ze met iets komen wat je dus niet besteld hebt. Maar wel ja ja zeggen alsof ze je begrijpen. Bij de receptie van het hotel praten ze iets beter engels maar evengoed irriteerden wij ons er hel erg aan.

Leuke bungalows op het strand. Erg leuke locatie. Simpele kamers, netjes met airco. Sommige huisjes hebben een koelkast, erg handig! Wij hebben extra kamers bijgeboekt.

First trip to Thailand and didn't know what to expect. I really can't say anything bad about this place. Very nice bungalows directly on the beach. Caring and lovely staff who will help you straight away with any questions you have. The food (!) is incredible. I went out to one of the nicer restaurants but Believe me when I say that the food at Moonhut was so much better! I have no complaints as this was a perfect stay :)
