Ricci House Resort

Amazing staff and service!

Ricci House has a great central location and friendly, accommodating staff. The breakfast offers good choices - thanks for providing fresh, delicious mango each day. However, the rooms are extremely basic for the price you pay. The shower is essentially a hose on the wall without any wall or barrier, so it takes a lot of skill not to spray or splash the entire bathroom each time. Try to ask for a room away from the busy street.

This place was great! Pick up and drop off from the ferry is included, which is very nice! Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options. Our room was very comfortable and clean and included daily water new towels for shower and beach, plus floor mats! Location was very central and easy to find. Our room was facing the busy road but it didn’t keep us from getting a great sleep!

My room was very comfortable, I especially liked the sitting area and somewhere to dry my wet beach clothes. Breakfast was very good with a coffee machine for espresso or americano options. The staff are all very nice. I extended my stay an extra day (would’ve stayed longer but they were booked). The location is perfect!! Walking street just around the corner and beautiful sunrise beach a short walk! I would stay here again. Thank you to all the staff and Kim for helping me with my next island hopping adventure.

Hotel room is clean, and pretty sound proof despite we are on 1st floor and bside the road.

Dejligt sted, tæt på alle de forskellige strande. Meget tæt på walking street, men stadig dejlig stille om aften. Sødt og hjælpsomt personale. Rent værelse og bad. Vil helt klar komme igen.

Resortti oli keskeisellä paikalla. Kauppa ihan vieressä ja ravintoloita. Lyhyt matka kävellen rannalle. Huone oli siisti ja sänky hyvä nukkua. Huoneessa oli sähköpistokkeessa hyttysten karkoitin. Liinavaatteet olivat puhtaat ja pyyhkeet vaihdettiin päivittäin. Mökissämme oli pieni patio, jossa oli kiva istua. Aamupala oli hyvä paikalliseen tasoon nähden.

Jolie Chambre côté jardin, très calme ! Bien équipée. Lit un peu ferme. Petit déjeuner parfait pour bien commencer la journée. Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits le temps que des places se libèrent dans notre resort avec piscine. Qui s'est avéré plus Bryant avec des enfants qui courent partout ! Finalement le Ricci était d'un bien meilleur rapport qualité prix !!!! Kim est adorable et vous accueille chaleureusement. Nous recommandons cet hôtel très calme a proximité de tout.

Eravamo già stati l’anno scorso , non posso che ripetere la valutazione , nell’insieme il giudizio non può che essere positivo, buon rapporto qualità prezzo, struttura abbastanza ben tenuta anche se necessiterebbe di qualche aggiustamento , pulizia più che discreta posizione ottima al centro dell’isola quindi è molto comodo andare in qualsiasi posto della stessa , personale simpatico e disponibile sempre gentile a parte l’addetto alla colazione quasi inesistente sempre col cellulare in mano che non si curava minimamente se mancava qualcosa alla colazione , dovendo dare un giudizio a quest’ultima non può che essere negativo , poca scelta monotona e di bassa qualità , un aspetto decisamente da migliorare , peccato perché per il resto il giudizio non può che essere positivo . Concludendo consigliabile senza colaziomne .

Gostamos bastante do hotel. O café da manhã é delicioso. Eles enviaram funcionários para nos receber no pier e ajudar com as malas, sendo que o transporte até o hotel é feito com moto. Também gostamos da localização: fica bem no centro da ilha, o que facilita para conhecer todas as praias, e também é bem próximo da Walking Street. Os quartos são amplos e todos funcionais. Eu apenas faria uma ressalva de que não se trata de um resort. Não possui piscina etc. De toda forma, o hotel é ótimo.

The hotel was great and had everything we needed. Check in was really smooth and the host was super friendly and spoke good English. Hotel room was nice and clean and you could choose to have the room cleaned and bed made or not every day. We were given complimentary water every day which was useful. Having AC and a hot shower was great. Also really well located, close to the walking street and sunrise beach.

Frukosten var dålig

Otroligt trevlig personal och vi fick hjälp med tuctuc-skjuts när vi anlände och skulle åka. Internet hade utlovats men fungerade inte på rummet och bara mycket dåligt i receptionen. De skyllde på våra telefoner. Men annars som sagt mycket trevligt och rent. Fina rum med bra läge vid gågatan.

Ganz tolles und hilfsbereites Personal, die Lage ist absolut großartig, da ruhig und alles schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Unterkünfte sind schön groß aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wahrscheinlich hat da COVID gut dazu beigetragen.

Die Unterkunft ist schon zentral neben der Walking Street gelegen, so dass man alle Stände gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Essen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten überall. Die Bungalows sind sehr hübsch und hochwertig ausgestattet. Viel Liebe zum Detail. Frühstück ist zwar - wie in Thailand üblich - nicht üppig, aber man kann so viel und so oft bestellen wie man will. Amerikanisch, Jogurt, Früchte, Pancakes und Waffeln sowie noodles oder Rice mit Eierspeisen Der Service ist überragend. Alle Mitarbeiter insbesondere die junge Managerin 😉 lesen einem die Wünsche von den Lippen. Vielen Dank

It was a good stay. Highlight was all employees we talked with. They were so attentive and eager to help. Negative side was lack of atttactions. There was a lot of rain, and it limited our mobility around the area. In that case, we could not find anything to use our time for fun. I wish we could get more attractions so we can use our time more memorable. I loved my room, umbrella rental was very kinds. Location is right in the middle of walking street. and beaches are within walking distance. And they prepared a surprise b-day cake for my wife. There were a few cats patolling the area, and we beca'e a good friend with him. There are a lot of good points in this hotel!

I stayed in a room that overlooked the main road. It normally quiets down after 11pm so it didn’t really bother my sleep. Ricci is close to the best beach on the island which is sunrise beach & north point beach. easy 5 mins walk. the island is quite small so it’s easy to walk to the walking street or the main street for 7-11 or local foods. ricci offers complimentary pick up & drop off to the ferry pier which was such a lovely gesture considering how how it is to walk when you step off the boat. the staff were very helpful & courteous. my room was cleaned every day & i got new towels/water/coffee/tea. there was a fridge to keep your items cold. the ac worked great & thankfully cool the room within 10 mins. there’s also a fan as well. the thought the king size bed was very comfortable along with the pillows. the only issues i had were that the shower was bad very low pressure but that seems rather typical of stays on the islands. plus the wifi was rather iffy every so often that i’ll need to use my data instead. overall, i enjoy my stay very much that i booked another two nights to extend my stay at ricci. it’s quite central & i enjoyed just walking every from it.
