Traditional Thai house with super kind hosts. They only have 4 rooms which is understandable cause they renovated their house to serve as a mini hotel. All facilities are updated to a modern one (shower, bathroom, beds, air conditioner, etc.) Being remotely located, the access is a little uncomfortable unless you have a car but that is why it's surrounding is so serene.

Spent an amazing two nights here and felt completely relaxed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My stay started with an airport pickup and a quick stop at 7-Eleven, which was such a nice touch. My room was even better than I remembered from booking—very comfortable, clean, and I slept great. Although the location isn’t in the city center, I had no trouble getting Grab rides to explore. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and on my last morning I used one of the bikes to ride around the lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful oasis in Chiang Rai. It is like a little slice of paradise with private villas, beautiful grounds, ponds and a beautiful covered but open air lobby and dining area. Everything is clean and the service is amazing . I would definitely recommend staying at the Rommai Villa.

We loved our Villa stay, the grounds are beautiful and the family so welcoming. Bikes were available to ride to local waterfall. Highly recommend!!

Room was comfortable and their grounds were very pleasant and peaceful.The air in the morning smelled of blossoms. Family run business. Only about 20 minutes car ride from downtown Chiang Rai. Easy and very inexpensive GRAB car ride. Free shuttle to the airport also. Had a very relaxing stay.

I love love loved my Rommai Villa stay. The hosts were amazing! My villa and views were so beautiful. The homemade breakfast was very flavorful and made with love. The host offered to and from airport shuttle and a scooter was available for rent during my stay. I will miss Rommai Villa and my hosts, until my next visit. I highly recommend friends and family today stay here. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Rommai Villa!!!

Large and clean cabins. The family is so sweet and serviceminded. Good breakfast with several options. The place is a bit outside of the city - but the surroundings are nice - and with some restaurants and 7-Eleven. I will definitely come back to this gem.

This is the most serene garden paradise…we absolutely loved the Thai authenticity of our spacious cottage. Breakfast was first rate! And, close to attractions as well as the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day! Enjoy!! 😊

Les hôtes, une petite famille, sont très accueillants et arrangeants. Un petit coin de verdure et de calme, où nous avons pu nous reposer un peu. Chambre très confortable, petit déjeuner excellent. Service de lavage de linge et location de scooter bon marché très pratique, cela évite de courir après un loueur de moto.

We stayed here for 3 nights and would highly recommend it. The bungalows are lovely, spacious and well equipped. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, a true Thai paradise. All run by a family who are just amazing, from picking us up at the airport to helping us find a private tour guide, great laundry service to the very best suggestions for restaurants and places to visit, the breakfast was outstanding and after a long day of touring they even made us dinner which was served on our patio and outstanding. Great base for exploring Chiang rai ..we ordered Grabs with no problem and they cost a few dollars and were so easy. Our 5 week trip covered 4 countries and many cities - out of all our stays this was our favorite.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Rommai Villa. Eine echte Oase in Chiang Rai. Ein wunderbares, gut gepflegtes Grundstück mit vielen Bäumen, Pflanzen und Teichen. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen und hat bei allen Wünschen geholfen. Für die Airport-Transfers mussten wir nichts bezahlen.

One of our best experiences in Chiang Rai. It’s a family owned business. The owners are so nice, and helpful and kind. They take very good care of us during our stay. They helped us booking the massage, and arrange the taxi to a temple. The environment is so nice. We love walking around the garden and smell the osmanthus. The owner is also a great cook. We appreciate having meals in the garden listening to the water In the pond. It’s very nice to bicycle around the pond or to the small dirt road on the left side of the villa. We checked out quite early in the morning. The owner got up before 6 AM to say goodbye to us! Definitely recommended!

All run by a family who are just amazing, they have excellent suggestions for food and places to visit, the breakfast was outstanding true home cooked Thai food and some of the best we had in Thailand! Great base for exploring Chiang rai province, 20 mins into the city and then easy access into the countryside for day trips - would recommend hiring a car. Overall we had a great stay at Rommai and would recommend to anyone want to explore chiang rai but be a little way out of the main town.

Wonderful small guesthouse on the edge of Chiang Rai, relatively close to the airport. Super friendly owners who picked us up from the airport and told us about anything and everything that was going around. This meant we attended the local Buffalo festival, which was fascinating with excellent street food. They organised amazing Thai massages close to the local hot Springs which we reached on their free loan bikes. They recommended a superb restaurant close to the blue temple and the river. Lovely traditional bungalow, which was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and excellent shower. Highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Chiang Rai.
