we stayed here for 6 nights and everything was absolutely incredible in every way

Shantaa Resort was very peaceful and serene. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Restaurant served amazing dinner and made to order breakfast buffets. Pool and beach were also great. Concierge was helpful and able to book us a driver for our 1 day island exploration. I would highly recommend Shantaa to anybody.

This property is a couples paradise if your looking for a quiet vacation. Staff is exceptional and every bungalow is positioned for privacy. Great place for rest and relaxation and if you never want to leave the resort, you wont need to. My girl friend and i rented a scooter(moped) from Shantaa and explored the whole island. We only used 1 tank of gas the entire time.

Ein extrem schönes Resort, in traumhafter Lage, mit wunderbarem Service und einem sehr guten Restaurant. Der Hotelstand ist klein aber sehr hübsch, der Pool ist groß genug zum Schwimmen. Ein großer, weiter Sandstrand grenzt direkt ans Hotel. Das Resort ist großartig für alle, die sehr ruhige, entspannte Tage in einer idyllischen Natur verbringen möchten. Ein noch perfekteres Hotel ist kaum vorstellbar, deshalb sind die herausragenden Bewertungen absolut gerechtfertigt. Wer Party und Nachtleben will, für den sind Koh Kut und Shantaa aber nichts.

Fantastic place to just chill out

Everything about this resort was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were treated better than family. They saw to our every need. The room and view was fantastic. The restaurant was outstanding. The breakfast alone is worth going back for. It seems every member of the staff knew us and treated us with incredible kindness. We rented a scooter for 2 days and it was fairly priced and in excellent condition.

This was my second stay at this property. It is an amazing resort. I would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed everything about this resort. I love the food, scooter rentals, the pool, the grounds, the room, etc. The layout of the bathrooms in the rooms are amazing. They are outside, but partitioned off for privacy. I love exterior bathrooms in the tropics. I hope to visit this resort in the future. I have many good memories of this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Shantaa. What stood out was the expansive area with the villas strategically located for privacy, providing a sense of open space with beautiful views of the sea. Enjoyed the lap pool in the mornings. The restaurant sat atop a hill and during this season few people were there. Suggest staying with the Thai food options, as the Western food was limited and did not compare to the quality of the Thai food. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Adding a spa to the resort recommended.

We absolutely loved this resort. From the moment you arrive, you feel special. Our room was fantastic, especially the outside bathroom and the terrace. It is very spacious and so quiet! The pool is beautiful and makes for the lack of beach in front of the resort. Although the beach is only about 5 mins walk, on the other side of the pier and it’s a beautiful one. We loved the chilled café, reminded us of Ibiza vibes. The restaurant was fantastic, highly recommended but beware, the portions are huge! Certainly one of the best resort on the island!

This is the best place we've ever stayed. The location, relaxed atmosphere, incredible food and friendly staff make it a haven on a beautiful island. The villa rooms are beautifully simple and high end. There are so many spots to relax or spend hours in the sun in with two beaches to access. The standout is the food and drinks (cocktails in particular) on offer at Shantaa. We would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

En väldigt välhållen och smakfullt designad resort där inget lämnats åt slumpen. Hela området andas ro och omtanke om gästerna in i minsta detalj. Personalen är väldigt uppmärksam och hjälpsam och ingenting saknas på området. Restaurangen har bra thaimat och frukosten är superb.

Oh Shantaa, my paradise! This is my new absolute favorite place in the world! Shantaa resort doesn't care about star rating, but in my eyes they are far better than most 5star hotels/resort. First of all, the service is incredible, everyone working there will do all they can to make sure you are happy and taken care of in any way thinkable.The grounds are kept immaculate, and the layout of the resort is masterfully planned and buildt.. With about 25cabins, 2beaches, 1 swimming pool, 1 cafe, 1beach bar, 1 restaurant. 1 small snack shop and dozens of sunbeds and areas to hang out spread around the grounds. The cabins are beautiful and very cozy with a gorgeous view and a lovely balcony. The outdoor bathroom is amazing, having a shower while feeling you are in nature can't be beaten! The bed is very comfortable and the luxury bedsheets may be the most comfortable I have ever tried. Everything in the cabin (resort) screams luxury and comfort! In my eyes it's easy, if you don't absoloutly love Shantaa, you're most likely the problem😅

Sehr komfortables, helles Zimmer in wunderschönem Garten mit phantastischem Außenbad, einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Frühstückskarte zum Wählen, statt Büffet, mit guter Auswahl und sehr guter Zubereitung. Leider kein ansprechender Strand, aber sauberer Pool. Nachteil: extrem hoher Preis

The resort is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by nature—a perfect place for a quiet stay with family and friends. The breakfast was excellent, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I did experience discrimination during my stay. Although I am German, because I look like I am from the Indian subcontinent, I noticed that European-looking guests were treated more favorably. This was particularly noticeable with one staff member, who seemed to be the manager, which was disappointing since all guests pay the same. Despite this, I enjoyed my time with my family and hope the resort works to ensure equal treatment for all guests in the future.

WE enjoyed the quiet resort direct to the sea. Wonderful tropic garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful Open Air restaurant for all meals. No buffet thank you. The rooms were big and WE Loved the Open Air shower. WE will come back

Exceptionellt trevligt boende. Väldigt avkopplande miljö, allt välskött, trevlig personal, fin pool, fina bungalows, vacker trädgård och fantastisk thaimat som även thai verkligen uppskattar! Rekommenderas varmt!
