Lovely hotel. Location can’t be better.

Quiet

Great location. It’s a short distance to the night market. Also just in front of the hotel you can see the clock tower light show each evening. The staff at the hotel was very friendly, the room was quite nice and clean. They only odd thing is that the bathroom walls are made of fogged glass. Since I was a solo traveler it was no problem, but I just can’t imagine that many guests want to see each other use the toilet.

Centrally located and clean rooms, albeit dated. Th property cook use a coat of paint and updating but considering other options in the area, it's pretty decent.

We only stayed two nights but it was the most comfortable bed we had stayed in for the past couple of weeks. The staff was very helpful and always friendly. The hotel is designed and decorated very nicely. Very picture worthy. Food options in restauarant are good but the one night we had dinner there it took 45 minutes to get the food and the spaghetti bolognese was not good. The tomato sauce very sour and the meat hard and flavorless. The staff said they had a staffing issue in the kitchen so I understand but still needed to mention. Also breakfast buffet was included and there had a decent variety of option but unfortunately the food was cold. Their sterno fire pots had all gone out and no one noticed. They heated up my food using microwave and all was good. The second day the same thing, no fire keeping food warm/hot. They immediately corrected the issue but not before I had yet another cold breakfast. One exception was their boiled rice. Very tasty and always hot. One day was with chicken and the other day with pork. I highly recommend giving their boiled rice a try. In summary I would definitely stay here again and give their restaurant another try but they should put more attention into their restaurant otherwise it could adversely affect the overall rating of hotel

A great hotel find. Room was very well appointed and large. Breakfast was one of the best so far, lots of choice and good coffee. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Just next to the clock tower, it is in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend.

Very beatiful and classy hotel. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

Room was fantastic! Enjoyed my brief stay in Chang, Rai. Centrally located near the clock tower was ideal for me. I will return to this hotel.

Hotel cómodo

The hotel's location was good, with the Saturday Night market, the Night Bazaar and the clock tower nearby. The room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed. The food at breakfast and dinner was fresh, and the happy hour drinks were great! The service and staff at the hotel cannot be faulted. All were efficient, friendly and helpful. The only negative, which is the reason I gave 4 stars for facilities, is that there is no iron and ironing board in the room. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again if I am ever back in Chieng Rai.

Very comfortable hotel right beside New Clock tower. Great location with plenty of restaurants and very good Thai massage shops

All I have to say is that the Sooknirund hotel was EXCELLENT

A wonderful stay in a great location, at the center, walking distance to the various downtown temples and markets. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Instead of key cards, they have round fabric-wrapped electronic devices. There is a restaurant at the hotel, or you can walk to any number of small street restaurants in the vicinity.

Great place, I would have paid double for my room !!!!!
