Should have booked an air conditioning unit, but overall was great!

On the beach and close to town. Awful place though. You certainly wouldn't want to eat or drink there and the chalets are sheds by any orher name.

Nice quiet spot close to Thongsala pier

Rigtig god placering meget tæt på havnen, hvis man går langs stranden. Der er en madrads, badeværelse inde og to havestole et bord og en hængekøje ude. Vi havde et værelse med fan og rummet var ubeskriveligt varmt (temperaturen uden var omkring 30 grader)

The place is cute and quiet and clean. You get a nice veranda in front of the bungalow with a hammock. The owners are not very friendly though. The lady is nice but the man is very rude. He talks to guests as if they are intruders and not guests. The bungalow can use some hooks for storage because there is zero space or hooks for storage. They give a fine of 2000 baht for everything, it's a bit exaggerated. You are not allowed to accidentaly leave a stain on the sheets and there are rules everywhere for everything. The place was beautiful but I will not come back just because we didn't feel welcome, the man is rude.

I’ve travelled Thailand extensively and this is one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The description dates that there’s a bar and restaurant, this doesn’t exist. There was no water on arrival. No information given at the desk at all. If I had known to walk along the beach ten meters then I would have went to a neighbouring restaurant and saved myself a trek back to the main road. Signs up to say no loud noise after ten, this wasn’t adhered to, noise into the early hours on first night. Plus dogs barking sporadically. Full of mosquitoes with no plug ins. No information given at all during the stay, just given the key. There’s Intermittent internet access. Ants and geckos in room Too cold with air con on and only given a blanket. Too hot without it on. Bathroom smells. Room not cleaned in 5 days despite my asking. Old reviews pre covid do not reflect the reality. There’s nothing positive I can say about this place unfortunately. Nothing comfortable, relaxing or friendly about it. It is the worst place I’ve stayed in 3 months. Animal droppings around the sink and toilet from whatever came in via the open air bathroom in the night. Music from the live band plays into the night, making it impossible to sleep until very late. Scratching and scraping of animals on the roof and walls cannot be helped but again make it impossible to rest. The only positives - the sunset view from the beach. Very cute property, however the bungalow gets really warm during the day. With only a fan it was hard to cool down the room.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Nur wenige Gehminuten zu den Märkten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Hütten selbst haben ein simpel Ausstattung (Bett, Klimaanlage, Ablagefläche, Dusche,WC), sind aber vollkommen ausreichend. Jede Hütte hat ihre eigene Veranda mit Hängematte und liegt direkt am Strand. Kiteunterricht gibt es direkt bei der Unterkunft.

Nice and cozy and friendly staff, comfy beds

We weren't expecting much as we did only book 1 night in the cheapest room but after the poor reception from the staff, smelly room with broken toilet we decided to stay in another place. I am sure it was lovely pre covid and I do hope it prospers in the future as its in a fantastic location. Needs some TLC

Basic bungalow near the pier

The staff was nice, but everything was extra pay, which seems outrageous for the price, compared to others around. They didn't have drinking water on site for guests, 20B extra per small bottle, or coffee/tea in the morning, and the bikes are 250 baht per day. I only needed for 2 hrs before my ferry, which they helped me to set up, for a commission fee of course, and still wouldn't budge on price. You can go around the corner for 150-200 depending on length of rental. The room is basic and clean enough, air con works well, no toiletries. For the price there are several places closer to market that cater much better to the well-being of their guests. Quiet and peaceful, which was great for my one night, but not recommended for solo travelers looking to meet people. The beach is not really great for swimming.

Ants everywhere - all over my bungalow - on the bed, shelf, bathroom -- everywhere! I stayed at two other hotels on the same street and NO ants so it's just them. No pool either, so it's pricier than better places nearby.

If you want to stay in a quiet access to a beach but not a swimmable beach, we recommend to start at the bungalows which are close the beach, town, market, shopping and the port. Beach is basic but you can relax on chair under the trees. Bungalows A1 and A2 are located close to the beach.

Strandnähe. Könnte alles gepflegter sein. Zimmer okay. Viele Spinnenweben, Spinnen und Ameisen. Die zimmer sind aehr hellhörig. Man kann die Nachbarn beim husten zuhören.

Resort sympa mais difficile à trouver, les cabanes sont jolies mais la literie est très inconfortable, je me suis réveillée toute la nuit car elle me faisait mal au dos pourtant j étais fatiguée de mon vol. La vue plage est sympa mais les transats sont vraiment d un autre temps, je n’ai pas osé m’y allonger, des chiens vous accueillent à votre arrivée mais n ayez crainte ils sont gentils. Le Check in et Check out furent rapides et efficaces et la wifi assez aléatoire. Les commerces et le marché sont à 5mn à pied c est pratique pour une nuit mais pas pour un séjour complet.

This new guesthouse is in a very handy location for the pier and also very close to the Walking Street. A short, but sweet stay as I was getting a ferry the next morning. I could have stayed longer, although possibly not a great place if you're a solo travelling looking to meet others. Check out the Phantip Night Food Market while you're there - only a ten-minute walk away.
