This property was nice, but very removed from tourist or city areas. The staff were nice and very accommodating. The pool areas are nice and great sea shell hunting on the beach nearby.

Beautiful location. Lovely pools. Our room was right off the adult pool, so nice. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed how quiet it was. If you wanted to go to Ao Nang beach they had a shuttle. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend a stay here.

We had an amazing stay at The Shellsea in Krabi! The resort was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and resourceful, making our experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the pool bar—the staff there was so sweet and friendly, making it a great place to relax and unwind. We also loved how convenient it was to just walk down to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the stunning surroundings. The pools were always at a comfortable temperature, which made swimming even more enjoyable. Another standout aspect was the laundry service, which was incredibly fast—we were so grateful for that convenience. A special shoutout to the concierge team, especially the young lady who helped us book a private long-tail boat tour of the islands on short notice. It was such a memorable experience, and we truly appreciated how seamless she made the process. Overall, The Chelsea exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and well-run place to stay in Krabi!

A real gem, peaceful, quiet and tranquil after a number of weeks travelling. The resort is set back from other areas, so there is limited local restaurants, however Godle is very close and very good. Other amenities and shops are over 30minutes walk. The hotel has bikes, my only feedback whilst free they do need servicing and ensuring that they are in good roadworthy condition. Thank you, we had a great stay. Good breakfast and lively staff at the breakfast service.

L’hôtel est magnifique, le petit-déjeuner buffet superbe et délicieux, le service au top. Génial pour se reposer et profiter des piscines et de la mer. Seul point à savoir, l’hôtel est isolé, ce qui fait son charme mais il faut donc impérativement un moyen de locomotion pour bouger. La location d’un scooter est une excellente option.

Quiet and calm, the staff were lovely and attentive. Gardens and grounds well kept and plenty of sun-beds available. Rooms clean and well maintained.

Vi havde opgraderet til villa som var lækkert - og det nyd vi til fulde - derfor kunne vi trække os tilbage når vi havde lyst - men placering er lige en kende forlangt ude - men der er 5 dage lige afgange med en bus til Aonang - men v skal være hurtig og booke plads

Flott hotell med fantastisk uteområde. Veldig fint for de som liker å ligge ved bassenget. Mulighet for gratis lån av kajakk og sykkel. Sistnevnte er et stort pluss for å komme seg til flere flotte barer og restauranter som ligger på stranda nær Ao Nam. Hotellet sin mat er nokså dyr og lite imponerende, derfor endte vi opp med å spise lunsj og middag andre steder. Det samme gjelder for masasjen, som er 3x pris på hotellet. Men hotellet er likevel verd pengene, da standard og service er toppers.

The ShellSea has incredible views and an opportunity to be superb but is generally underwhelming in all aspects. Nothing is especially bad but for the price point it feels like a check box 5 star exercise rather than one of quality. Spend a few pennies more and experience a drastic uplift at places such as Rayavadee, Phulay Bay, Dusit Thani, etc.

The property is very nice but there are hardly any dining options. It's a very limited menu in the one restaurant they have and the same is available for room service. For a property that is 20 minutes away from the main tourist area, there really should be more food available. There are also no restaurants nearby. One other small issue was that the kids club restroom has no soap which is very strange.

Even from the first phone call my partner made to this hotel everything and everyone was so gorgeous , friendly , specially reception and the guy who's in charge of water sports due to them, the pools, room and the amazing private beach I have to say it's one of the best hotels in Thailand. We loved the water sports and the pool OMG the temperature was amazing - the best we had in all of thailand . The room we got was amazing a wonderful tub and big clean wonderful room with view to the ocean. The only downside of this hotel is location (very far from everything else, not even 7/11 nearby and hotel restaurants not cheap) and I have to say also the breakfast was also a bit disappointing, not what I expected from 5* luxury hotel like that. But I can't complain I enjoyed my time there very much and I recommend this hotel for couples and who ever that want to relax and enjoy nice beach and pools.
