Excellent and beautiful view

Budget hotel for budget price. The 8.2 rating is pretty misleading. Very nice lady at the front desk.

Very friendly

Wonderful, charming and quaint hotel with an enviable position over-looking Wadi Musa. Fitted out in Bedouin style, the staff are very helpful and the sunset views from the terrace are spectacular. They can help with all your Petra visiting needs, including taxis (1.5 miles to the site) and packed lunches. They order in dinner for guests and everything I had was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, though you do needed to stoop to get through the low doors and the bathroom was somewhat awkward to use. Not a lot of evening entertainment, no TV in the room or bar but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Aardige mensen, kamer ok maar de badkamer is in een woord vreselijk. Oud en niet toegankelijk. Wc is niet te gebruiken. Oude vieze handdoeken met veel vlekken. Lakens met gaten. Eens maar nooit weer.

The hotel is located out of town but provides a great view of the surrounding terrains. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the best which I have encountered throughout my 2 weeks road trip to Egypt and Jordan. The room is very basic and they do not provide cleaning unless upon request. The toilet is very small and you need to cross over the toilet bowl in order to shower. The floor is wet after showering which can be quite uncomfortable to step on. The hotel has a specific time to turn on the hot water and aircon heater (6 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 9 pm) which can be quite cumbersome to follow the timing. The wifi connection is super good. Though there is no TV in the room, I can use the Wifi to watch movies online. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are a few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast selection is not perfect but the view on top is superb. There is no specific parking area for this hotel and I have to park either on the roadside or in the parking lots in front of the shops beside the hotel.

J’y ai passé deux nuits. L’accueil est chaleureux. La vue de la salle de dîner est juste magnifique. A cette époque pas de dîner mais la possibilité de ramener à manger soit du mall soit du restaurant. Ils proposent une lunch box si vous visitez Petra dans la journée. Pas excessive et très bonne.

great balcony, panaroma and chill area. free tea. old but clean. bathroom is a littlebit bad but functional. hot water is good enough. no luxury but quiet.

Friendliness and attentiveness of staff was wonderful, the bagged lunches truly appreciated, the view was terrific, and the wise, eco-considerate use of electricity and water both appropriate and essential; however, the level of dust in the blankets was palpable and the luke warm water hard to bare for even a brief shower.

Great stay! The decoration of the room was lovely and reception was very attentive with us! They even helped us get a bus to Wadi Rum and got us a delicious lunch box that fitted our vegan restrictions perfectly!

The hotel has a very Jordanian feel in it's decor and the owner, Mohammed, was extremely helpful. They don't serve breakfast at the moment because of covid but the hotel supplied a fantastic packed breakfast each day that was enough to last most of the day: large cheese or tuna roll, several cakes, chocolate bar and juice. It was left in a fridge by reception and so was easy to pick up for early starts. The hotel is at the top of Wadi Rum and has great views, but this means a hard walk up hill from the Petra entrance or 2-3 JD for a taxi.

We stayed on first floor. The first room we were shown had an obsvure glaxed window overlooking industrial var park. Tje window would not lock. We swapped to another room on tje other side of the corridor where tje window locked but nit much better. Not relaxing or a pleasant place to stay altjpugj staff friendly and helpful.

Het uitzicht is schitterend, de bedden goed en een grote contactdoos voor al je apparaten is ook fijn. De ontvangst was teleurstellend. De receptionist zat onderuit gezakt, leek ongeïnteresseerd en weinig voorkomend. Via Expedia hadden we ons aangemeld voor het diner, nooit antwoord op gekregen en bij aankomst bleek het eten op. Onderweg naar onze kamer roken we een rioollucht. De kamer zelf bevatte nauwelijks plek om iets op te bergen. Later ontdekten we de kleerhangers aan de gordijnrail. Het badkamertje is een ramp. Ondanks de door ons zelf aangebrachte verbetering aan de ophanging van het douchegordijn stond het badkamertje binnen de kortste keren vol water. Dat betekent dat als je erna nog naar de wc wil, je met je voeten in minstens 2 cm afgekoeld douchewater zit. Het deksel van de wc lag los, de wc-bril zelf moest je elke keer zelf weer recht leggen. Het ontbijt was ok, maar de ruimte waarin we dat nuttigden (op de foto’s heel gezellig en authentiek) was smerig met plakkerige zoutvaatjes. Het schitterende uitzicht werd verpest door ongewassen ramen. Er ligt overal vloerbedekking, hier en daar met kleedjes verfraaid, niet erg hygiënisch. Tot overmaat van ramp viel ook de elektriciteit nog uit, waardoor we bij het licht van onze smartphones de weg naar beneden moesten vinden. We hadden voor twee dagen betaald, maar zijn na een dag vertrokken. 35 JOD is niet veel, maar voor 20 dinar meer heb je om de hoek een tophotel.
