I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund. I was offered a comparable room at Half Moon Blue, a hotel across the street but owned by the same people as Bacolet Beach Club. I paid 600TTD for this room (but the invoice I received was for 804TTD, shifty as hell) for one night. I later found out that I wasn't supposed to be charged upfront for this room but receive it in place of the Bacolet Beach Club room. I waited more than an hour for someone to prepare a room for me at Half Moon Blue. No one notified me when it was ready. I had to keep asking the front desk. The accommodation is not comparable. It is an old structure that smells like varnish. I received a refund for Half Moon Blue LESS a 20% cancellation charge for a room I wasn't supposed to be charged for in the first place. Everyone at this resort was a disappointment and to date not a SINGLE apology has been made by ANYONE at this facility. Please never even bother booking here. We left got a room at the Magdalena Grand and received exceptional service.

The internet SUCKS!! the steps going down to the beach is a death trap !! waiting to happen I did not use the Beach @ all because the steps does not look safe to get there I think they have a bus that will take you to other beach. Breakfast is nothing to talk about a lot things need up grade cleaner do not come every day

Room was big and spacious but bathroom sinks were not clean when we arrived. Property needs alot of maintenance and refurbishing. But most of the staff was amazing.

The meal inclusion gives good value for money even though the dining options were limited. The food was tasty. The aged furniture in the restaurant gave it a kind of unclean feeling. The room (on the older side... above the reception) had that unclean feeling as well. Not saying that the room was dirty but it gives an unclean feeling that is a little difficult to descibe. We stayed in the newer buildings before and it did not give that same feeling. Highly reccomend getting a massage while you are there. July was amazing.

Great views, and excellent staff and service. The staff were super helpful and patient. We had an additional guest and the front desk person took her time to come up with an elegant solution that was beneficial to all.

Very enjoyable

Smaller, very friendly charming hotel, on the Atlantic side of the Island. Lovely clean room with an amazing view over the grounds and out to sea. Good food, excellent service from friendly staff. I came to get some peace and relaxation, and to get away from hoards of people, which is exactly what I got. I wish I had stayed longer. Thank you Bacolet Beach Club, I will be back. ♥️🌞♥️

It was nice, clean and private, I wish the wifi and the toilet worked properly.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, i would definitely recommend it if you are looking for someplace quiet to relax and unwind!

Had a great time here. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful, and willing to make special accommodations if you're unsatisfied with any part of your stay. Prices are pretty competitive with other similar hotels like Starfish. The decor in the rooms is modern and gives it the feel of a more expensive hotel. Beds are comfortable and the room we stayed in had a balcony with an incredible view. My one complaint about the room was that the bathroom area did not have a door, however this was unique to the "superior" rooms, and the hotel was willing to relocate us to another room if we wanted. The menu selection at Cafe Havana was pretty limited. There were maybe 1 or 2 chicken options, with several more beef and pork. Lots of vegetarian options. Everything we did get tasted amazing, but if our stay was any longer we would have probably gotten tired of getting the same food so often. Still a great experience overall. If taking any meal package when booking, be aware that lunch is only a single entree, and dinner is either a starter and entree, or entree and dessert. Also, lobster and steak are not available as part of any of the meal packages. If travelling with family or kids, make sure your selected room has a bathroom door! Also there are a LOT of stairs, this is not a hotel for physically disabled or older folks.

The place was very clean, staff service was excellent and food at the restaurant was exceptional.
