마야 호텔 이스탄불

I recently stayed at Hotel Maya, which is perfectly located for exploring the European side of Istanbul, especially the historic sites around Sultanahmet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the 24-hour reception made check-in convenient after my arrival from the airport. However, there were several areas needing improvement. The room and furnishings felt dated, and upon arrival, I found the cleanliness lacking, with stains on the bathroom floor and chocolate on the carpet from previous guests. The cleaning staff were a significant concern. Despite breakfast being served from 7 to 10 AM, cleaning began noisily at around 8 AM, disrupting sleep. There were instances where the room was not cleaned at all, and on occasions when sheets were changed, the bed was not fully made. Additionally, I was left without toilet paper, and once received an opened bottle of shampoo. Over my nine-night stay, the glass in my room was never washed or replaced, raising hygiene concerns. On a positive note, the breakfast was varied and plentiful, though as someone lactose intolerant, I found the options limited due to the abundance of dairy. Despite the cleaning issues, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maya. The friendly staff, great location, and decent breakfast made for a pleasant experience, though I would recommend addressing the housekeeping concerns.

Nice staff, the room in which I stayed was good, the best was just bad, felt like i was sleeping on stone. The management should do better.

I absolutely loved staying here. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The lighting in the lobby is really wonderfully relaxing, and is deaigned very well. That first impression allows the stress of travel to recind. There is lift. I found my room spacious and very plesant. The positioning of the hotel meant rhe sun shone in each day, which was glorious. (The curtains are thick enough to block out the sun if it gets too much.) I've seen people comment on the bathroom being small. I didn't think so, but I guess it depends on your size and build.. The shower is large and clean and works properly, The room has a minibar but no kettle. Water is replenished whenever the cleaner comes which is everyday unless you request No housecleaning. Breakfast is buffet style, with efficient and attentive staff. I found the staff just wonderful, helping with my suitcase but any other problems. I felt well taken care of and rested well here. I really loved the massage chair in the lobby, its so good after a hard day of walking around. I extended my stay and to be truthful probably would have stayed there longer, but had to go. I would highly recommend.

I spent six nights here. It's a nice place for the price, but the shower tub is too small if you’re a tall person.

Mon sejour cest tres bien passé dans l'ensemble, le personnel a l'accueil etait tres a l'écoute collaboratif et gentil. Le petit déjeuner par contre n'est pas bon et les filles au restaurant n'ont eu aucune formation elles sont en permanence en salle pour regarder les gens manger , discuter entre elles avec beaucoup de bruit se servir en meme temps que les hotes. Auncun savoir etre pour ses filles a mon avis une suffit et loin des gens qui mangent pour un libre service autant de monde nest pas souhaitable. Svp revoyez le comportement de ses dames , Le personnel de chambre en revanche tres correcte gentille. A BIENTOT EN ISTANBUL

Old hotel, old furniture, not a three star hotel we will never come back! we’re not recommend to nobody too expensive

The hotel is in a very nice location, easily accessible to many attractions nearby. Staff was nice at the reception and they helped with bringing baggage to room as well. The room was clean, however, the only problem is the bathroom is very small with no space to sit for the toilet. And the cleaners were shouting and talking loudly early morning for more than 1hour which literally broke my sleep. Where i had to wake up and personally advise them to talk slowly.

Ja, war sehr sauber.... Die Mitarbeiter unfreundlich. Die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Kein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer.

Jeg fløy til Oslo via Istanbul og var i byen i ett døgn. Hotellet ligger i sentrum, men veldig rent og stille, rommet var koselig og rent. Rommet vendte mot gaten, men det var veldig stille. Sengen er komfortabel. Personallet er svært vennlige. Jeg måtte reise til flyplassen klokken 05.00, så de åpnet kantinen for meg og tilberedte frokost, bestilte taxi til flyplassen. Veldig god service. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet.

Personnel très aimable et très serviable. Ambiance familiale et chaleureuse. On s'y est sentis en sécurité car la confiance règne au Maya Hotel. Modeste mais pittoresque. Abordable.

Jag bodde på hotellet i 6 nätter och trivdes väldig bra och kände mig trygg. Personalen var så trevliga och hjälpsamma. De hjälpte mig med min transfer till flygplatsen och även med att väga min resväska så jag hade rätt vikt. Hotellet ligger centralt och nära till allt. Behövde inte åka buss eller taxi. Var dock mindre nöjd med frukosten men det gick att äta. jag skulle definitivt bo på Maya Hotel igen om jag skulle resa till Istanbul framöver. Rekommenderar starkt hotellet speciellt om du kommer för shopping. Finns många affärer i närheten.
