The hotel is in the most perfect location for being right in the centre of it all. You can easily walk along the beach, to bluewaters island and the marina and there are SO MANY fantastic dining options. It’s also only a 25mins (ish) drive to Dubai mall for the Burj and fountains. It’s about 45 mins away from the airport without traffic. The hotel is lovely, clean etc just not one of the newest hotels. We were greeted very warmly by reception and really appreciated that our room was ready when we arrived early. We had a luxury room with a balcony and view of the beach / Ain wheel which was well worth the extra money - fantastic views. The bed was massive and comfortable. Nice rainfall shower and separate bath too. Room service / housekeeping were good.. if we needed anything extra and let reception know it would be sorted quickly. The pool / pool area is nice but unfortunately only gets the sun between about 1pm and 4pm. The beach is public which is fine but it’s quite expensive to hire sun loungers each day (about £27 per day). Not the fault of the hotel and this would be an issue for all hotels but the only thing I would say is that it is pretty noisy at night with cars revving every night until about 2 or 3am. This wasn’t a problem for us as we mostly stayed up very late and I’m a heavy sleeper m but it you go to bed earlier or are a light sleeper then it’s something to consider! Even with white noise on both our phones it was still loud.

Really good location for the beach, shopping and restaurants. Traffic after 11 is absolutely horrific. We had three taxis cancel on us from the Atlantis waterpark due to the location of this hotel. We had to get out of the taxi and walk 10/15 mins on multiple occasions because the traffic was so bad so just be warned. We had wings and fries at the pool and the fries were good but the wings were disastrous. The lifts are slow and take a while, one afternoon I was waiting 5-10 mins for a lift. But all that said, I would still stay here again!

I love this hotel! This was the second time I stayed there. It’s super clean, spacious rooms and a nice pool. I can highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at Sofitel jumeriah beach for six nights. I had booked the stay through Expedia, where breakfast was supposed to be included. At the reception, the staff explained that my stay did not include breakfast, which made no sense. Additionally, they demanded a deposit of 2,000 DKK and 240 DKK in taxes, neither of which had been mentioned during the booking process. We ended up having both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, but we paid out of pocket. Unfortunately, the food was consistently of poor quality and left us with a bad taste every time. In the room, several power outlets and some of the lamps did not work. The coffee machine could only brew a quarter cup at a time. There was also no toilet brush.

My 6th year in a row staying at the property. Always loved it, especially the location. But last year the room smelled overwhelmingly of mold/damp, and when I informed them they offered little more than an apology. And this time I found a roach in my room. Sorry but thats just unacceptable when paying this much money at a 5 star hotel. And once again, when I informed them they seemed to care very little. So after 6 years of staying here, I will NOT be coming back.

Second visit to this hotel, although the first visit was 10yrs ago. I would return, although I would request a higher floor given the noise from the traffic on JBR and the hotel lounge music. The hotel balcony doors probably need further glazing to prevent the noise. The room was lovely, and the view and balcony amazing. The hotel carpet leading along the corridor to the room seemed to smell strange, of ammonia. Maybe this needs replacing unless it was insect spray! The pool staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful.

Hotel bonito , bem localizado , funcionarios excelentes. So a limpeza que deixou um pouco a desejar .
