Excellent location with bus at the door and Metro a short walk. Trader Joes very close fot shopping or restaurants to eat out

Home away from home. Room was well furnished with kitchen utensils and all you need to prepare a home cooked meal away from home. Trader Joe’s right across the street adds a huge value to this location. Friendly staff as well.

Terrible experience. Only went with this hotel because I needed a fridge and stove for my autistic son’s needs. The entire place is run down, dirty, full of stains. The appliances are also dirty and old. Our walls and carpet were dirty and there were different areas of the room that were broken. I reported all of this and nothing was done. Additionally, I was bitten all over my legs overnight and when I reported it, the man at the front desk’s response was “the mosquitos in DC are vicious”. I showed the bites to my friend who is an exterminator and he said they were definitely bedbug bites.

Looked pretty on ground floor. Hotel clerk that checked us in was nice. Manager and rest of staff rude. Got to our room which was newer and looked nice but the beds were unmade and sheets everywhere. They changed our room to an older more run down room. Kitchen dirty and bathroom dirty. People in our family did not want to take showers because of how room looked. TV did not work and they claimed it was because of a storm - yet the internet worked. Other people had issues and they were afraid to say something because of how we were treated (they witnessed one of the interactions regarding the room). They comped parking but should have comped everything. We were afraid to walk around room without shoes on. had lots of bed bug bites as well. Will share photos with expedia directly.

The hotel was in an excellent location on the edge of Georgetown. We walked to dinner nightly and to the Foggy Bottom metro station to get to all the attractions. Georgetown shopping was just over the bridge and easily walkable. The expedia app says that parking is avaliable on site, which is correct, but it is EXTREMELY limited and costs $42 a day. Someone at the desk suggested that I use the Spothero app to reserve a parking spot close to the hotel and I was able to reserve a spot close by for cheaper than the hotel was charging. I felt more confident driving into town knowing that I had a reserved parking spot and wouldn't have to drive around and park on the street.

We did not arrive to a clean, modern, boutique hotel as indicated on the photos. The room was rundown and in need of renovations. There was a musty smell and the furniture was old and dilapidated.

Not a happy place. I stayed for 4 nights in April and it was very hot in Washington. There was no air conditioning for the first two nights which made my stay very uncomfortable. The staff blamed this on the local authorities but other nearby hotels had A/C. I asked to be allowed to check out at 1 pm on my last day instead of 11 am. The staff refused and charged my card for an extra night even though I did check out at 1 pm and was told that I would be assessed $100. An altogether tough experience. Unlikely to come back or recommend the place to others.

Only a few blocks from the GWU metro. Nice staff and clean room and common areas. Highly recommend.
