Adrift Hotel

Everything seemed to be old and worn out. Room seemed clean but smelled of disinfectant. Ugly floors. Bedlinens and pillows needed to be replaced. Nice supply of toiletries, towels and bathrobes. No view. This hotel was great in its prime but desperately needs a remodel.

Perfect location! Loved borrowing the hotel bike and riding Discovery Trail. Excellent restaurant and bar with the best ocean view. I won’t stay anywhere else but here next time I visit Long Beach.

We stayed for three nights and overall it was a good experience. The room was cute, clean, and had good towels/shampoo. The pool area was great - the water was warm, and the kids loved it. Any staff member we came across staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great, parking was easy, and price was on par. The restaurant was really good and there was live music on the nights we were there. The only hiccups were: The room was stuffy with no a/c. There was a fan provided and if you opened the window it helped a lot - but our screen was ripped so bugs flew in. The toilet seat was wiggly so when you sat or got up it you’d slide sideways and have to catch yourself There were hanging lightbulbs across the bed area instead of nightstand lamps, which looked cool but they were installed weird and you had to play with the switches to make them stay on. One of them was bad enough that you had to wiggle the wire and it kind of felt unsafe. Internet connection and tv signal was spotty. The beds felt so cozy (soft) but our backs said otherwise in the morning. (We are not in our 20’s, so there’s that lol)

We loved the heated pool!! The basic room was still very nice. We liked that there was a day bed. The staff was very nice. It’s very conveniently located next to beach access.

Our absolute favorite place to stay in Long Beach! The service and staff is incredible. The beds are SO COMFORTABLE. The proximity to the beach and the town is top notch. Honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. BONUS TIP: bikes are included in your stay to check out and cruise around town or the beach! We have returned numerous times already, and are already planning our next trip. Thank you, Adrift!

Great place to stay

Great place and even better staff. Only issue was it was a bit small and the vent in the bathroom blew hot air.

Great location but room was super HOT the first night we stayed - thankfully, we were able to get a new window fan the second night so the room was much cooler. Nice beds and great location, but the rooms lack storage and are basic.

Love the fact this hotel offered bikes for riding along the coastal water. What a special treat!! Front desk gals were Amazing and Super friendly. They even made reservations for us to have dinner with a live band. This place made us feel at home.

I’ve stayed here with my husband, kids, and family many times. We love it I really can’t think of one thing I don’t like. We LOVE the salt water pool, beach access, for a hotel restaurant the food is really impressive, great cocktails, love the distillery, walking distance from like everything I would not stay anywhere else if you’re going to Long Beach. We’ve stayed here in the dead of winter and the middle of summer and it’s always been great.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Great view of the ocean. Staff was friendly. Coffee in the lobby was great too.

Adrift was a pleasure to holiday at. Clean room, excellent pool and sauna and friendly, helpful staff. The resturant was also a big plus. It's convenient to town and the ocean. I will definitely return again.

Welcomed with a very large Pride flag in the window of their entrance. Went to swim in the pool and had to get out because of what looked like dog poop in the shallow end, and a large dog barking all afternoon, then all night, then all morning the next day until we checked out.

This hotel did NOT have AC. It was bloody hot in our bedroom! The hotel is dirty. Everything is old and unkept. The pastry shop is overprized! A small croissant was $5.00. No more staying in this hotel next time.

This property was great!! Love how close it was to the beach and the heated pool with sauna.
