Staff were lovely and very accommodating, great location right on the beach with plenty of dining options nearby

For the price and proximity to the ocean this was an amazing location. Bed sheets were clean. Due to the nature of the location it was noisy at night but this was expected. The hotel does provide ear plugs if needed in every room which was great. The only downfall was when we arrived the hotel there was no one at the front desk as they were attending to someone else in the building, we did have to wait about 15 minutes but after the process went smoothly. Checkout was smooth and quick. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a very convenient hotel for visiting the seaside area, located right next to Venice Beach. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, and bathtub, which was nice. It was quiet both day and night.

Historic hotel in an excellent location. Staff accommodated all requests and were always friendly. Looking forward to staying here next time I’m in LA!

a lot of homeless. we were 1st floor and had to keep curtains drawn because homeless were standing outside of our window looking in. very limited dining. no parking.

Love the location! Super friendly staff. A little street noise and music from the nearby brewery, but not too bad. Ear plugs were offered, but we didnt need them. Cute little wfficiency! Would definitely stay again.

No place to park near the hotel, had to park two blocks away ini a parking garage and walk to the hotel. Incredibly noisy due to the restaurant/bar across the street playing music very loudly until after 9 pm. No air conditining in the room, only heating. On a more positive note, the hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. the hotel is right on the beach so immediate access to the beach. But Venice beach is a kind of sleazy area with lots fo questionable vendors selling things from a table along the boardwalk.

Really nice place. Right on the beach, easy to walk everywhere. It was a little dated, but everything was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, great location, just should’ve looked into parking in advance, but honestly it all worked out. I’d recommend this hotel to friends for sure!!!!

Should have realised when entering the room - being given complimentary air plugs. Place was very noisey. Had to leave a day early as couldn’t put up with it any more. Didnt feel the safest place out there.

Hotel was clean and safe. Simple, no frills. Professional staff. There are no key cards provided. Receptionist wrote codes on a piece of paper for front door access and room access. Great partial views of the ocean from the room. Very busy bustling part of the boardwalk. Lots of foot traffic. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Bed in the room has a full-size mattress on a platform frame. Small tv- has cable channels. Room has a table with 2 chairs, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, steamer, standing fan and a space heater. It was chilly weather. No central heat. Bathroom was cold. Room door does not have a peep-hole. There was damage to the wall and the bathroom ceiling. Shower is covered with a hanging fabric shower curtain. Loud music plays at the restaurant/club directly beside the hotel. Hotel provides disposable earplugs in the room. Huge public parking lot is directly across from hotel. Very reasonable flat rate for visitors until 10PM. No overnight parking allowed. There is lots of homelessness in the surrounding areas. There are tarps and rolling carts, and tents. People are sleeping in the corners of the public parking lot, sleeping at the public restroom areas; and on the beach. There are cleaning crews and safety teams daily on the boardwalk in the early mornings. There is lots of despair. It is very sad.
