여행 다녀오면 후기 남기거나 이런적 없습니다 사실 귀찮아서 찾아서 하지도 않구요
그런데 이런 경우는 처음이라 혹여 저 같은 피해가 없으시길 바라며 이용 후기 남깁니다
저희는 가족 여행으로 방 두개 를 예약했습니다 다음날 체크 아웃 후 유니버셜 스튜디오에서
가족들고 즐거운 시간을 보내고 있는데 남편 문자 서비스로 카드 결제 승인이 아발론 측으로
부터 결재 내역이 뜨더군요 남편이 로밍한 휴대폰으로 전화 해보니 담담자 안내 받는대만
8분여 시간이 들더군요 그리고 담담자의 말로는 우리가 화이트 와인을 2병을 먹었다고 하더군요
남편이 보지고 않았고 손도 댄적 없다니 알아보고 연락준다는 말 밖에는 없더군요
미국 달러로 700불 가량 승인이 나있고 남편은 잘 해결 될 거라 말했지만 타지에서 말도
잘 안 통하고 이미 la로 와 버린 상태라 참 기분이 뒤통수 맞은 기분이 더라구요
그 후 부터 찝찝한 기분에 호텔 한번 잘 못 정한 덕분에 기분이 상한 상태로 저희는
일정을 소화해 내야 했습니다
그 후 남편 현지 친구의 도움으로 4일의 걸쳐 7번의 통화로 취소 해준다는 말을 들었고
그렇다고 바로 취소가 되지도 않더군요
저희는 한국에 와서 카드 회사로 부터 취소 요청 후 취소가 되었습니다
아발론 호텔 측은 기본 적인 매너와 양심 부터 갖춰야 할 듯하네요

Yeah, I would say nice try but that is not the case. The Avalon puts its name on classic mid sixties Palm Springs building, charges a high price and calls it a day. The bathroom is like something from a Motel 6: Old tub/shower, mean towels. My room rate was $299. plus all the other fees. I could not find the switch to turn off the patio/balcony light and the front desk explained they could send someone up to unscrew the lightbulb. The lighting in the room comprises solely of 2 hanging pendants by the bed. No other lighting except a ceiling light at the entryway.

Very cute little boutique property. Lots of charm, great location, in downtown so everything is blocks away. Not like a super luxurious resort type property with lots of ammentities, so if you're expecting that - this isn't it. But for a short little getaway it was great.

The green part of the property was really beautiful as were all the outdoor amenities. However, the room definitely needs renovation as I’m sure they all do. Mid century is nice but a modern newer take would be so much better.We were upstairs in a suite. The floors were so slanting that I felt like I had vertigo walking around.

Very cute boutique hotel with nice grounds and rooms. Excellent service and friendly staff. A few areas could be refurbished or cleaned better. Dust and a dirty tissue in room. Pool needs an update.

This is a wonderful, clean property with some of the best drinks I had during my time in Palm Springs. All the cocktails are made fresh to order, not premade, and the bartenders are highly skilled. The location is also very convenient, being close to the main strip. The room I stayed in was nice, though a bit small. As a Platinum Expedia member, I requested my complimentary upgrade but was informed that no upgrades were available during my stay. Unfortunately, towards the end of my visit, the water in my room was turned off due to waterline issues, and I was moved to a one-bedroom suite. While I appreciated the upgrade, I wish my platinum upgrade would have been honored upon check in to avoid the inconvenience of being without water for hours and having to pack up and move rooms.
overall this is a great place to stay and I did enjoy my time at the Avalon Hotel :)

Front desk was amazing and the property is so quaint and sleek. The staff also have our son food to feed their coi fish and have us complimentary sparkling wine upon arrival! Then they delivered complimentary champagne. Place felt like a home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant small hotel with 3 pools, 2 of which were 18+ so quite a grown up boutique feel. Family pool largest and shaded loungers all round. Loungers, attentive poolside bar service at all pools, parasols. Room was excellent. Food good value - açai bowl and cheeseburger really excellent- seating next to pool. Free coffee til 10am
