My day was absolutely horrible. I pulled over to this hotel. I wish I looked at the ratings. I was coming from Tampa General going back to Orlando. I was too tired to get to Orlando so I pulled over to stay at this hotel when I woke up to go to the restroom, I fell due to their leaky AC unit pouring on the ground. When I went to let the front know, they automatically accuse me of not telling them the night before even though it happened in the morning the manager wouldn’t even speak with me. They couldn’t provide me his number nor his email, he never returned any information or called and now I have a severe back injury and they actually charge me for the room and said well you still did stay there It’s laughable yes I stayed there, but I didn’t ask for the pain and the negligence that you provided but thank you anyway I’m glad that I took video of all the negligence. I wish I could’ve took the video of the roaches on the ground in the front, but I didn’t. I was in too much pain

I would never stay again,I was wanting to leave and go some where else.soon as you open the room door it has a odor.wet mold.piss odor..I can go on and on .they really need to tighten up in all areas.BAD STAY

Nice area and friendly. Comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Building not maintained, black mold on the ceiling in the shower and the outlet for the refrigerator microwave didn’t work.

Room was flooded and dirty and with mold all over the place. The front desk told me it was a mistake that I was given the room and I would receive a 100% refund. Andrea the front desk manager said that Hotel.com will have to reach out to them in order to process my refund as the room was booked through a third party. We did not get our refund even though two people the front desk night clerk and the manager told us that the room is not livable and it was a mistake that I was put in that room as the room should be closed off.

Non smoke room smell like cigarettes. Bathroom ceiling full of mildew. Renovations. Hall ways smell like old paint.

Well if you're reading this, just do not consider this hotel, Lakeland is a lovely place, and has lots of other hotels to consider Anyway why do i say this? Well we booked a room which was ok at best, it was a bed for each night of stay, other than blinds that let in street light, so room was bright thru night, breakfast was terrible, dirty area, the hotel looks like it's 10 years past it's prime, and then the toilet blocked, informed front desk at 9am, went out for day, came back late afternoon still not fixed, maintenence guy goes home at 3! Anyway move to another room on same floor, open door and towels on floor due to fridge missing which btw was in corridor before hand for days, removed towels and went to bed that evening, plus side no street light outside, but large amount of mold in bathroom as extractor was not working, anyway go out next day early to theme park, come back and floor is covered in water again, floor lifting up, go to reception, no other rooms available, so check out early and just leave, a room that is dangerous, slippery, staff unaware, clueless, never apologised, if you want to live in the edge for all the wrong reasons then book a room

The room smell like humidity, and the property look all run down, the sink was clogged, and it was cockroaches in the room. Had to leave early

Although I'd prepaid the room, I was asked to offer a credit card for a $100 non-smoking hold to be refunded at checkout. Clean towels are provided when dirty towels are returned. Our rooms air conditioner leaked a large amount of water. I chose not to exchange rooms, but opted for a mophead to place underneath it during the night. This help alleviate a puddle in the morning. Although breakfast is provided, it is cereal, bread or waffles. Other than that, we could hear our guests during waking hours - despite this, our sleep was restful. We checked out without any issues.

My stay at the Baymont was unexpected. When entering my first room the room floor was covered in water, something was leaking but after speaking to the front desk it was quickly resolved. The room I was in definitely held moisture, it always smelt wet and I noticed things would never get dry. Other than that my stay was great, no problems.

Room was missing furniture- night stands, lamps, desk/table. Lobby floors had wet dog pee sitting for hours. Breakfast area floor filthy. No hot water/ tea in breakfast area. I brought my own tea but unable to heat water in styrofoam cups to make tea.

I paid less and got more with better service and way better breakfast. There was no table or chairs to even eat on. There was no phone, no coffee maker, couldn't watch local TV, no closet, no ironing board, very noisy on my floor at night. Smelled strong weed from day one when we checked in. I will never return again or give recommendations over here. Enev spotted a couple roaches.

The room was terrible none of the amenities they noted, just a bed 2 side tables a tv and a busted refrigerator

It was okay very hot in the lobby they were doing some renovations. What they had for breakfast choices kind of suck your choice with cereal or bread
