Baymont by Wyndham Shawnee

The pics online compared to the actually rooms are decieving. The room I was put inhad holes that were attempted to be patched, some nasty rotting carpet, somethjng really dirtly on one of the lamps,( it looked like mold, couldve been something else Im not sure because I didnt get to close) there was also a chair that had questions dried stuff still in it. I did not get a pic of that although now I wish I wouldve! I was itchy just staying there. The only reason I didnt change rooms or complain at the hotel or even switch hotels was because I bought it through the hotels.com site with my afterpay account and I didnt want to cause any extra problems I was literally just there to sleep a few hours for a couple of nights. I will not be staying there again and definitely will not recommend.

Bed was comfy, but we saw 3 roaches in our room and there was no water for several hours and no hot water the first night. At 7:00am, there was almost nothing left for breakfast and the front desk did nothing. Hallway smelled like weed and carpets are stained and dirty.

I should have known it was going to be rough when the automatic sliding front door was broken and an employee had to manually open it. Check in was rough, why did I need to upload my ID and credit card if you were going to do the same thing when I show up? I was given the wrong room when I checked in and I'm am about recycling but giving my a key card holder that has been used and has the room number scribbled it and rewritten three times is a little excessive. The coffee table in my room was falling apart and I was scared to put anything on our of fear of breaking it. The sofa had a leg fall off so sitting there wasn't an option. There were 2 TV remotes, one of which was apparently for the cable box but barely worked then once I did get the cable box on, none of the stations were included in the plan. Why bother having TVs in the room is you can't watch anything. There's no elevator and the carpet in the stairs and hallways looked like it was from the 90s and hasn't been maintained since. For what they are charging for these rooms, they should be ashamed. I am 100% avoiding this place if I ever come back through this town.

The property was extremely dirty and I felt uncomfortable being there. Their automatic door was broken and you had to push the heavy sliding door open to get inside, it was extremely inconvenient.

Roaches, poor quality in upgrades and construction work was embarrassing. Front door to the Lobby was broken and provided ZERO security

They booked us into a room that was already occupied. Our other room had cracked window and the tv only allowed 1 channel to watch. Not recommended.

The pillows were very small and bed was uncomfortable. It wasn’t dirty or anything. Just an ok stay. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Was a good place to stay

Two large holes in the floor of the main hallway with dirt piles around it and carpet rolled up making it difficult to transport luggage to rooms. One hole did not have safety/caution sign. The first room we were put in had no hot water and was in very poor condition, no phone, baseboards were missing walls were chipped, etc. we were then given a second room but very little help to move all of our things. The employee on duty was on his phone while we struggled to move everything after an exhausting 800 mile drive. Very poor customer service - the included breakfast was stale bagels with no cream cheese, two sugared cereals with no healthy or adult options and some very sad tater tots. Luke warm coffee. This hotel was very obviously not ready for travelers - we could not believe that this was a Baymont hotel.

They are horrible charge me on my card for no reason and didn’t refund me they are thieves

Curtains were broken and would not close all the way. Toilet was running constantly loudly. Absolutely no hot water for morning shower. Ran water for 20 minutes and best it ever got was room temp. Horrible.

Room had bug and unspeakable not comfortable smelt bad very nasty. When I went to check out the person at the desk was asleep and it was 8am unprofessional.

I cancelled my reservation after arriving and finding the conditions not what was advertised on the website. The conditions are not safe and the room was not cleaned well. All the blankets and sheets were wrinkled and the bathroom was disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE!

First impression: you walk thru the open door cause the automatic door is broken, and the front window has a huge crack in it. Desk clerk said elevator that way so we walked way way down the hall, went back & asked and he said we don’t have elevators. Was very humid in hallways. Clerk told us room 209 so tried key but no so we checked the card holder and it was room 200. Walk in room shattered plastic all over floor due to light fixture falling. Only 1face cloth and towels were thin and scratchy. No tv remote. Can’t figure out how to turn shower on. Did give them 1 star cause the bed was comfortable. Afraid to eat free breakfast as place did not look clean. At check out clerk never looked up never thanked us or asked how was our stay(probably cause he knew what the answer would be). As we were leaving noticed another large broken window where the gym is. All this and it was still same price as other hotels

Toilet seat broken only one bolt in. Toilet flush would not stop filling has to remove top. To stop each flush.

Nice room, very easy access.

Booked a regular room over a month ago. When we showed up, they gave us a handicap room. Which we thought would be ok. There was no place to hang clothes up. Only chair was in the bathroom. When taking a shower, the water went all over the floor. The floor was so slippery had to put down towels along with the bath mat. The breakfast on the first morning at 7:45 was two trays of potatoes one empty tray where eggs was. Never brought out anymore. Next morning at 6 there was eggs but they were gone by 6:45. They had waffles, yogurt,some fruit and different bread. The view was of the highway.
